*christie's pov*

I don't even know why i'm upset. it's been almost a week since calum left. mali said he's been trying to reach me but i told her to tell him to stop trying. right now i'm home alone trying to find a new show to binge watch.

before i pick a show i heard a knock on the door. rolling my eyes i got up to answer.

"sophia?" i was surprised. of all the people trying to cheer me up she was the least person i would expect to see.

"hey christie," she smiled," i heard what happened between you and calum."

"pretty much everyone did," i said annoyed.

"i think that as your friend i should be here to cheer you up," she said showing me she had brought some cookies.

"since when are we friends?" i said raising an eyebrow.

"since now," she invited herself in.

she walked upstairs and into my room. she hummed and turned around to look at me.

"where are all of our pictures together?" she asked looking around my room.

"the funny thing about moving on is getting rid of everything you had about the other person."

she just rolled her eyes. then she giggled.

"you're so funny,"she winked at me.

"okay get dressed i'm taking you out for lunch," she told me picking out an outfit together.

"why are you being so nice to me?" i looked at her confused.

"because that's what friends are for," she smiled.

"okay but it's not a date," i said going into the bathroom to change.

once i put on the outfit she picked for me we walked downstairs.

"you look beautiful christie," she said grabbing her purse from the couch.

"thanks," i said awkwardly.

i was about to get my car keys when sophia stopped me.

"i'm driving don't worry baby," she showed me her car keys.

"baby?"

she walked out the door and i followed. she started the car and i saw we pulled up to the cafe where we first met.

"sophia what are you trying to get out of this?" i asked before we walked into the dinner.

"christie i just want to say i'm sorry for what i did," she started," and i know no amount of im sorry's could make up for it. just let me try to make it up for you."

"fine but don't think we're getting back together," i warned.

"no promises," she laughed.
