After interacting with Groot only to find out all he says is "I" "Am" and "Groot" or ocasionally "We" and he's not just reminding me that his name is Groot, the Xandarian dude speaks up, "Welp! since you know Groots name and we know yours might as well introduce ourselves, I'm Peter Quill, also known as Star-lord, you've probably heard of me, word gets around fast" He says proudly puffing out his chest, "um...no, sorry, I don't" I say politely, Peter looks surprised then upset and goes to say something else but is interrupted by the women, "I'm not surprised" she looks at Peter with a smirk on her face then looks to me "I'm Gamora, nice to meet you (y/n)" she says with a smile on her face, Peter pouts and looks away 'They have to be a couple' i think to myself, "Nice to meet you too!" I say smiling back, then the tattoo guy walks up closer and yells "I am Drax the destroyer! Nice to meet you small child!" I flinch a bit then say, "is that your last name?" He looks at me confused "What?" "Thedestroyer? Is that your last name?" He blinks, we are both silent, just looking at each other....he finally replies "no"...."oh" more silence...."well nice to meet you to Drax" i say awkwardly ''Im so awkward why??? What kind of question was that?! Of course it's not his last name! It's a title!" I think going over our introduction again in my head, snapping me out of my thoughts, Peter clears his throat and says "And this little raccoon is Rocket" he points at the passed out 'raccoon?' on Groots shoulder, he's mumbling something about blowing up moons, I look to Peter and ask "What's a raccoon?" Peter looks at me for a moment then says "Nevermind, well we best be going, got some saving to do, it was nice meeting you (y/n)" I frown, i'm going to be alone again...he waves and starts walking away, Drax says bye and follows, Gamora looks at Peter then back at me and at Peter again then says "We can't just leave her, Peter" Groot nods in agreement "I am Groot" and walks over to my side looking determined, I'm stunned, they care about me...Peter and Drax both look at me, Drax nods and says "Yes, I wouldn't want my daughter to be left unattended to and unloved" he looks at Peter to see what he has to say, Peter continues to stares at me like he's debating, making me anxious and finally says "Welcome to the guardians of the galaxy kid"
