Chapter 12- Bonding Time (Peter)

After my bonding time with Drax I decide to go visit Peter next, I walk up his door and before I knock I hear sounds, it's the same sounds I heard playing from his tape deck that he seems very fond of, I put my ear up to the door to listen closely but the door then opens causing me to fall in side his room, I hit the ground with a groan, "Ugh...that flarging hurt" Peter jumps back in surprise from my graceful entrance, he laughs and says, "How's the view down there?" I groan again, getting up slightly, he holds out his hand to assist me, I grab on to it and he pulls me up, "Pretty dusty, I think I even saw a whole colony of dust bunnies and bacteria" I respond back, he laughs again, "Yeah, not the first time someone complained about my messy nature" he says, I laugh as well, "Not surprised" he then looks at me confused and askes, "Did you need something kiddo?" I shake my head, "Nope, just wanted to get to know everyone better is all" he nods his head and smiles, "Cool, so what do you want to know?" I look around his room noticing a lot of posters and objects I have never seen before, I focus back on the sound I heard before falling on the ground, I walk up the the object responsible of the unique sound, it's a black box with little holes in it, Peter sees me observing it, "That's my stereo, it plays music, it's pretty loud so Rocket told me to keep it in room" he explains, I nod my head in understanding but not really fully understanding so I ask, "What is music?" He replies, "The sound you're hearing right now, pretty awesome huh?" I reply back, "Yes, the sound is very interesting" I honestly really like this thing called, 'Music' it's very catchy, he smiles and goes up to his messy desk picking up some ear muff things, he brings them closer to me and says, "These are head phones, they generate music directly to your ears so others can't hear it, only you can" I nod in understanding again, he puts them on my head and plugs them in the stereo, the music sounds closer now, Peter talks loudly so I hear him over the music, "Doesn't it sound better with head phones?!" I nod quickly and reply, "YES, IT SOUNDS MUCH BETTER, THE MUSIC IS MUCH CLEARER TO HEAR" Peter winces and laughs, "Yep" he takes the head phones off my head and unplugs it from the stereo so we can hear it again, the sound of the music changes, Peter yells in excitement, "Yes! I love this song!" And starts making weird movements with his body, I look at him strangely, "Hooked on a feeling!" He sings doing more weird movements around the room "I'm high on believing!" He points at me while still singing and moving weirdly, "That you're in love with meeeee!" I look at him in confusion and ask, "What are you doing with your body?" He laughs, "I'm dancing!" Still 'Dancing' around the room, "Dancing?" I repeat, still confused, he nods and says, "Yep, music makes you dance, well, depending on the person" I ask another question, "Can you teach me how to dance?" He nods, "Sure! Just follow my lead" he says, so I do so, the movements he's making is very strange but I copy his movements nontheless, he laughs at my struggle to keep up with his movements, I laugh along, the music changes again, the song catches my interest, "Another one bites the dust~" it sings, "Who is this and what is the song called?" I ask, liking the voice of the singer and the beat as well, Peter responds, "Queen, another one bites the dust" I look in shock and confusion, "This is a female singing this?!" Peter laughs, "No, that's just his stage name" I go to ask another question but he interupts, "and before you ask, no, he is not royalty" he laughs again, finding my curiosity and confusion amusing, I feel like Drax, "Oh, I like this Queen, does he have other songs?" I ask, Peter nods, turns around and starts digging in his desk looking for something, he pulls out a rectangle thing, he hands it to me and says, "This is casset tape, it has a collection of songs in it, specifically Queen songs, you can have it" I look at him in shock, "Are you sure?" He nods, "Of course, I love getting people into my music" he smiles, I return it and hug him, "Thank you Peter, you're awesome" Peter goes stiff but hugs back, not as awkward as last time and smiles down at me, "No problem kiddo, anytime".
