Lance stepped off his bus and looked up at the college. The building seemed to loom over him, threatening his very being. He let out a nervous breath. First day jitters, he thought to himself. You got this. He walked along the sidewalk, soon meeting up with his friends, Hunk and Pidge. Lance grinned and trotted up to them. "Hey guys! You excited for the first day?" He asked brightly.

Although Lance had a lot of feelings hidden on the inside, he tried to stay as optimistic as possible. Most of the time. Pidge huffed, cleaning her glasses. "I'm running off of two hours of sleep and a shit ton of caffeine. I think I'm good." Lance chuckled and ruffled her hair, earning a little growl. "What about you, Hunk?" He asked, looking up at the tall and rather muscular Samoan. Hunk fiddled with his hands nervously. "well, I don't know, Lance. College is... college is scary. Really scary." Lance shook his head. "Hunk, you're like the strongest person here, what do you have to be afraid of?"

Pidge adjusted her glasses and looked to Lance. "Hunk may be big and strong, but he's also soft. On the inside. You know he doesn't like to fight or get caught up in drama." Hunk nodded hastily. "Yep. What she said. Definitely, no fighting for me!" Lance sighed. "You guys are no fun. Hey, Hunk, there's your girlfriend." Hunk turned his head and blushed, crossing his arms. "Shay is not my girlfriend! We're just friends..." Pidge punched his arm gently. "Oh come on, Hunk! You've had a crush on her since fifth grade. Why don't you just ask her out?" Hunk shook his head. "No way... there's no way she likes me!" He sighed. "Whatever. Let's just go."

Lance watched Pidge and Hunk walk away and sighed, shoving his hands in his pockets. He walked toward the entrance, looking around. There were hot girls everywhere. He smirked as he caught a few gazed, winking or shooting finger guns in return. It was all fun and games until he noticed a group of girls crowding around another guy. He was tall and very, very buff, all around handsome. Lance frowned and grit his teeth.

If there was anything he hated, it was competition. However, he had to admit... the guy was smoking. Smoking hot. He smirked a bit. He had slept with men before too. And a guy like him had to be packing something. Which is probably why he was surrounded by girls. Lance took a detour and wandered over to the group to admire the guy. His heart fluttered.

The man was a junior, judging by his uniform. He had a very strong jaw, and his chest looked rock hard. The muscles on his body would put John Cena to shame. Lance suddenly found himself staring into the man's eyes. A beautiful chocolate brown and flakes of gold... Lance noticed his eyes weren't moving. Then he noticed he was staring right back at him. He jumped and blushed, turning away and walking back inside. His heart was racing. But why?
