I noticed that this was a ship, even though it does not have that much fanart on tumblr, and I don't know what to say about it honestly.
At first, I felt like Ruberiot and Star would be a good couple, since I saw Ruberiot as being a couple years older (perhaps around 16 or 17).
But when I realized that he's actually older than her (I headcanon him to be in his 20s, same with Foolduke), and had become Foolduke's husband in season 3, I sunk this ship immediately to a BrOTP.
I feel like these two would have more of a sibling relationship, since they both understood that the traditional way of music for the princesses had to go, but it was nothing more than that. Also, Star wouldn't like someone that have that freaking face (his staring face became a meme btw, I'm dying XD) while hugging Marco and revealing her secret crush during the ballad. I love Ruberiot, but I had to point out his flaw there about his big mouth.
I can't see this, either, if I aged Star up or aged Ruberiot down. So I only ship this platonically.
