I changed my mind on Starberiot. The ship has grown on me a lot thanks to rootberiot's artwork on deviantart and tumblr (dudeurmascara). Her artwork of them is so cute, and I couldn't help but ship it now!
With age gap ships like this, I tend to prefer the aged up version than the normal version. I'm fine with small (1-5) and medium (10-15) age gaps, but for medium I will still age them up. But for large ones (20-over), those don't settle well for me. AetherSkull from Pokémon is an exception since Guzma and Lusamine are both adults, so the age gap honestly doesn't matter there.
Anyways, I see Starberiot being in between small and medium. Star is 15 and I headcanon Ruberiot as being around 21-22. So it would be a 6-7 year age gap.
Obviously, I don't ship this in the show because Star has no feelings for Ruberiot whatsoever, and is just friends with him (unintentional pun on namesake episode XD). She has feelings for Marco and Tom, and is happy for Ruberiot when he marries Foolduke. So in the show, I see them as brother and sister in a way in terms of their relationship.
On the side, I see it with an aged up Star. I think that their relationship would be very cute! They would spend a lot of time together, and bond over stuff that they disagree with, like the old Princess Songs for example. Star would get that adorable crush on Ruberiot, and Ruberiot would, too, and it would become something more. Also, they would just be so cute in general that it helps fuel my multishipping heart <3
I don't ship this as much as Foolberiot, Mimeberiot, Adeleiot, and Justeriot (Justin Towers x Ruberiot), but it's still quite adorable.
Platonically (in the show): 10/10 (One of my top BrOTPS)
Romantically (aged up Star; on the side): 8.2/10
