Chapter 1

Chloe's POV

She calls it the best day of her life, I call it the worst. She was the only one who really cared about me, she was the only TRUE friend I had. Now she'll be off in Hollywood with her big sister Payton List. I wasn't even invited. It was suppose to be our dream, and we were suppose to live it together. Now I feel stupid. Let me take it back5 years ago, which was 2 years after the show dance moms.

I was 16 years old and Maddie already quit the show to be on Broadway, Brooke was going to college soon, Nia got a tv show lead, Kalani got her OWN broadway show and the rest of the girls quit. Paige and I stayed at the show. Maria, Katherine, Jessyln, Sophia and Tori joined the team and it never felt so wrong. I already had 25 broadway callbacks, but I stayed on the show so I could be with Paige.

Then it was 4 years later when Paige got the call.

Paige's POV

✌️ um ok so why did u call again?

💅Paige Hyland, or should I say Katherine List.

✌️ umm who's Katherine List

💅 wow u are dumber than Mrs. Carine List described

✌️umm can you make sense here?

💅 you're Payton List's long lost sister

I giggled a bit too loud into the phone. His accent sounded really funny but at the same time he was dead serious. This kid was a real good prank caller.

✌️ ok kid you got me for a sec, but for real you can just hang up I know you're a prank caller.

💅 I knew it would come down to this.Payton is outside.

✌️ you think if fall for that. It's probably some stalker in a Payton List costume.

I opened the door apprehensively. What if it was a stalker with a chain saw. I peeked through the window and I was flabbergasted how real and detailed the costume, wig and makeup was. Then it stuck me it was Payton List.

" Omy omy omy gosh it's its it's its it's."

"Payton List." She smiled sweetly.

"Ya!" I nodded slowly in awe.

"Katherine give me a hug."

"It's Paige, but I'm Katherine if you say so."

"Can I speak to you're mom."

"Umm." I couldn't speak me eyes watered and poured out so rapidly. Chloe came over and pated me. She was so comforting, and I was so lucky to have such a wonderful best friend.

She whispered something to Payton something and she nodded apologetically.

"I so sorry about that. Can I speak to your dad?" I started to cry some more. Wow this girl can really mess up.

"Ohh umm let's start over." She replied.

"I'm Payton."

" we'll I'm very confused what my name is so I'll go with I'm hungry."

"Hi Hungry." She giggled for a bit. She was so gorgeous. Her teeth were so white pearls are probably jealous. This was probably the best thing that happened to me in my life so far.

"Listen I know it's short notice, but I need you to come to Hollywood."

"Can Chloe come too?" I questioned. Chloe wasn't here she already left because she had soccer practice.

"Sorry she's not glam enough."

"What do you mean."

"She's broadway, you're more tv material."

"Listen I'm not going unless she comes."

"Ok suit your self, but you'd be paid 2 million 5 if we get good reviews, plus you'd get to live with me."

"What about Josh I need to watch over him." Josh was in the incident with mom and dad. I can never talk about it because I swore not to. If he wants to speak he'll do it himself.

"I'll pay someone to watch him."

"Look fine I'll go."

"Excellent we'll leave tomorrow."

"Ok." With that she disappeared, to soon, like she was hiding something. Something really serious. I called Chloe and told her, but she acted pretty mad. I would too. I went shopping by myself. Something I haven't done since the incident. I was terrified. I almost couldn't even manage to hold my phone. I stopped off at Chanel. I heard they got a new fashion line out, including new shoes and purses. I needed new designer stuff for Hollywood. Then I called Payton and I told her I seriously wouldn't go to Hollywood without Chloe. So she invited her, but not on the show. I'd push it later. I told Chloe the good news and she hung up on me.

"Go live you're life I gave up mine for you. Don't ever call me again!" Those exact words reverberated through my head. Going to Hollywood without Chloe would be tough. I knew she'll make it big, I just wish I wasn't the one who already stopped her.
