December 25th 2020

I reach for my phone to text Paige. She's missing all the fun. David Harvey her set to be fiancé, mom and dad were going to Friendly's for the dance moms reunion party with myself. We were temporarily short on cash, and if Paige married Harvey, a family friend, we'd be able to pay our bills.

All of a sudden, I can't move. It's not like I feel pain, it's more like I broke something. All the other adults are still as a cucumber with their heads dangling. I try to call 911 but I can't move anything but my head.

The car is all mushed and so is the other car that passed the red light. I use my tongue to dial the police and in 30 seconds they emerge. I'd cry but I was so perplexed, and so many ideas were thrown at me at once, and my brain capacity could hold all of it.

The police cut a hole out of the door and take my parents David and I out of the car. I was the only one conscious, and we were immediately driven to the hospital. There I found out I was paralyzed by the effects of the accident. Briefly after I was acknowledged that I was paralyzed, I found out David died, and my parents were into a deep coma.

My parents were alive for a week and Paige would visit everyday sobbing her head off, which I'm so paralyzed that I can't even do that! It wasn't until a week later until we both found out that my dad had died.

Two days later my mom woke up but she was in critical condition. Just the thought of loosing both parents was worse than any sickness. After a week my mom fell back into another coma, and she as well past away.

So that leads me back to here, waiting for a cure of lost parents, but that can never be cured, not even with my greatest hopes. For that,in fact, is the only thing that keeps me going and believing that I can go about my day. That's the whole story, bit by bit.
