Chloe's POV
"Grandmother Chloe tell the story!" My sweet granddaughter asked kindly.
"Of course Michelle. I was on the Ellen show when a bunch of glump was about to fall, when Great Auntie Paige pushed my chair backed and saved me from the mess she made!"
"Yay!" Michelle and Ryan clapped. My daughters Alexandra and Maria gave me hugs. Paige gazed happily into David Harvey's eyes. Clara, now 63 sat happily next to Lucas with his wife Mary. I felt bad for Clara all alone as Josh Hyland came over walking without anything. He had just came back from surgery which had made his paralyzed problem gone.
"Hey Michelle do you want to go play softball with daddy?" The six year old smiled at Alexandra's husband Leonardo. I looked at Maria's kid Ryan and he asked me a question.
"I'm confused can you explain who everybody is?" He was an intelligent four year old boy with big brown eyes like Maria and I.
"Okay. I married Grandpa, Great Auntie Paige's brother. She married Great Uncle David. Mommy and Auntie Alexandra are my daughters, and Great auntie Clara is my sister. Great uncle Lucas is my brother, and his wife, Great Auntie Mary is your Great Aunt." I explained breathless after explaining something that long without stopping for a breath.
It was the most magical Christmas of all. Alexandra and Maria helped decorate the tree that Lucas put up. Mary, his wife, made her famous cookies, while I entertained the grandchildren with my stories once Michelle came back.
We shared a gigantic Christmas meal and although paige and David had to leave, Alexandra, Maria, Leonardo Michelle and Ryan stayed the night. The grand kids buzzed about their presents and it was truly remarkable. At the end of the day Alexandra had told me that she had just got a gig in modeling. She asked me if I'd give her advice and I was happy too.
At the very end of the day we went to church and I cried my heart out at silent night. It was my mom and Grand Poppy's favorite song.
"Mommy it's okay it's just a song." Michelle whispers.
"I know but it reminds me of your great grandma and Great-great grandfather."
"I wished I met them, in the stories they are so nice."
"Indeed." I reply wiping my last tear.
"Indeed they are." I add.
"Good bye!" I say as Alexandra, Maria, Michelle, Ryan and Leonardo leave."
"Good night!" They say in unison.
"Clara why did you stay here? Why didn't you come." I ask her as she walks into the room. I had no idea that she stayed the night, and u did not see her when we left.
"You said that you'd never love me less! You love your family more and I get it." She crys.
"You know you're all I have left as a family after everyone else died. I'm sorry but I'm a loner and I wished I had a life like yours." She adds, crying up a storm.
"I'm so sorry Clara. I didn't mean to."
*present time 2014, eight years before the beginning of the story*
"Wake up Chloe you're going to be late for dance. I let you sleep until 1pm!" My mom yells.
"Mommy!" I scream hugging her.
"I'm so sorry I just miss you so much!" I squeeze her.
"Honey you only slept for 15 hours."
"But... It must have been a dream!"
I felt so exhilarated. Although, I've never been as famous as the dream, I had my true life and family back, and fame has no equivalence to that."Thank you mommy."
"For what?"
"For everything!" And with that I get changed for dance! I couldn't wait to tell everyone my dream!
*the end*
