Chapter 2: a new guest

Chloe's POV

I can't believe it! I gave up my broadway callbacks so I could be with Paige on the show. So I called my little friend.

🍦= hi this is Chloe. You said that I would be welcome to your show whenever, once I finish Dance moms.

🐢= Chloe! I'm so glad you called. Do you have an inside scoop?

🍦= actually I do!

🐢= great meet us on set tomorrow at 6am. You'll be on the Celebrity Gossip early birds segment.

It couldn't have gone better. I'd get back the fame I left for Paige.

The next morning I put on my new red strapless dress, high heels and drove to the studio. It was only 10 min.

"Hi Lily!"

"Wow you have grown beautifully Chloe. The last time I saw you you were a little 16 year old!"

" Well I have a story for you. Remember those 25 callbacks? I put them down so i could be with Paige. Now she got one tv show and she's taking it!I'm furious."

"Perfect we'll use this story!" We walked on set and it was more amazing in person. It was so Hollywood! I hope Paige likes this story."

" good morning! I'm here with the girl who's from the old hit tv show dance moms. She put 25 broadway callbacks for her friend, and what does she get? Here to tell you the betrayed friendship Chloe Lukasiak."

I heard cheering and it felt good to be recognized.

"Good morning Lily it's wonderful to be here."

"It's wonderful to have you. Now tell us the story."

Paige POV

I turned on the tv to the new Hollywood insider. It's called celeb gossip. I saw Chloe! Today I had to leave to film my new show. Wow Chloe works fast! She was talking about our friendship!

"I can't believe how selfish Paige Hyland was. She made me stay 25 times, and leaves the first time she gets a tv call. She betrayed our friendship. Worst is she never said sorry!" She starts to cry. I felt awful, and betrayed. This will ruin our ratings. She was the best friend that was always there, and I gave nothing. I called Payton.

"Did you watch celeb gossip?"

"Yeah this will ruin ratings!"

" I want to quit!"

"Why?"

"I feel like an awful friend."

"Too bad. Then I can't do the show."

"I'm really sorry, but I have to do this."

" I'll get your friend in the movie! She can play your best friend."

"I'll see what she says,"

I picked up the phone and dialed Chloe. She was still on set.

On the tv

"Oh look it's Paige! I'll put it on speaker." Chloe said

"I'm so sorry. I worked really hard to get you on the show. I wouldn't do it without you. It pays 1m. Please hear me out."

"Well I can't stay mad after all your efforts. You ment well."

"Does that mean we're friends again?"

"Yes!" I watched on the show as everyone clapped.

"So can you guys come back next week?" Lily asked.

"Maybe." We said at the same time.

"K that's a wrap."
