Rina POV
The bell finally rang, signaling the end of the last final of the semester. I placed my pencil down, stretched, and caught sight of the back of Joshua's head a few rows ahead of me. Today was the day. Well, Sera's day, to be exact.
Alright, I can't let him out of my sight now, I thought and quickly caught up to him as all the students filed out of the testing room.
"Yo, Josh!", I called out to him, "Do you have any plans right now? Wanna hang out?"Joshua paused, eyeing me strangely and teased "What, why would I wanna hang out with you?" I punched him lightly on the arm.
"Ha ha, very funny."
"Yeah, yeah, just wait for me at the front gate, I'll be out in a minute", he said, heading towards the guy's restroom. I sighed in relief and whipped out my phone to text Sera.

Joshua POV
I splashed cold water on my face, running my fingers through my hair to smooth it down. This was the first time Rina had asked to hang out one on one outside of school or church and my heart was already racing a million miles per hour.
Alright calm down, just act natural. Don't get too excited.
Taking one more look at the mirror, I turned and headed out the door to meet Rina at the gate. She saw me walking towards her and smiled brightly, waving her arms over her head so I could find her in the crowd of students. I smiled and blushed to myself. Had she always been this cute?
"Ready to go?", Rina asked as I approached the meeting spot.
I nodded. "So, where are we going?"
"Hmm...it's a secret, just follow me", she said, lightly tugging my wrist in her direction. My heart was about to explode at the sudden close contact. As we started walking, we ended up talking and complaining about how difficult the final was. I couldn't help but notice how beautiful her long black hair looked that day with the sun reflecting off of it. I was so captivated that I'd lost track of where we were going.
After awhile, Rina turned around and said, "Okay, this is it. Just stay right here real quick."
I looked around and saw we were standing in the park nearby our school. I glanced back to Rina only to realize she had disappeared already.
Uhhhh what's going on??
Before I could figure anything out, I heard a voice behind me say, "Okay, you can turn around now!"
I turned and saw a row of colorfully decorated posters that read:
My one and only Gentleman, Joshua Hong:
Like a Map
To my Heart
From the Start
You were There.
Will you Share
A Dance with me at WF ☽I looked up to see who was holding the last poster.
Sera Moon.
Not Rina Song.
Oh.
My heart dropped. I caught sight of Rina peeking out from behind a tree, holding her phone, probably recording the whole event. Silence seemed to drag out for an eternity until I realized everyone there was probably waiting for my response.
I awkwardly cleared my throat. "O-oh...uh...this is very unexpected...y-yeah, sure, of course I'll go with you, Sera." I mentally slapped myself after these words left my mouth.
"REALLY?? OH MY GOSH, THANK YOUUU!" Sera exclaimed and ran over to give me a hug. She started talking rapidly after that, except, I couldn't really focus on her or anything else around me. All I could see was Rina who was still standing at a distance, now clapping and smiling. She saw me and gave me a big thumbs up.
Why was she telling me I did a good job when I just felt like I'd lost the world?
