Joshua POV
Today was the day. The fourth Valentine's Day that I'd be spending with Rina; the seventh since we'd started dating. Shortly after the concert, she'd moved from LA to Korea and found a steady gig in Seoul as a chamber violinist. She thought that she would be coming over to Pledis to celebrate DK and Vernon's birthday that was coming up in a few days, but no. Today was her day, and if I was lucky, maybe ours to remember for many years to come.
"Mingyu-yah, did you get all the posters done?"
"All ready, hyung!"
"Perfect, okay, and Dino, you're in charge of getting the cake, alright?"
"Okayyy!"
I rushed around with the members all morning to make sure we got everything right, planning out the decorations, ways to distract Rina before she suspected anything, and timing every step of the process down to the minute. Glancing at the clock, I realized we only had about three hours before she'd get here and started panicking. I felt a hand clap me on the shoulder.
"You ready, Josh? How you feelin'?" I turned to see S. Coups giving me a supportive smile. I took a deep breath.
"I don't know...nervous for sure, but also really excited. It sounds cheesy, but I've waited so long for this moment and I just don't wanna mess it up, you know?" I could never have admitted this to the younger members, but knowing that Seungcheol-hyung had my back made me feel better.
"Of course, what you're feeling's totally natural. Just put yourself out there and relax. Enjoy this moment. SEVENTEEN and Carat are always here for you, don't forget that." He gave me another reassuring smile and went back to help finish setting up.
"Alright, everyone", I said, addressing the whole group, "I think that's everything, let's get this show on the road!" Hoshi took my cue and led everyone in a cheer in his loud and energetic voice.
"Joshua-hyung, FIGHTING!!!"
"FIGHTING!!!"
Oh man, here goes nothing.
Rina POV
I stepped out of the bakery checking my phone for the to-do list. SEVENTEEN members and I were holding a surprise birthday party for DK and Vernon today and my job was to pick out a cake. I checked the time and realized I only had 30 minutes to get to their practice room, but I still had to change out of my workout clothes from this morning.
Crap.
I ran over to the bus station, hugging the cake box tightly so it wouldn't get ruined. When I got there, the familiar face of SEVENTEEN's maknae, Dino, greeted me.
"Oh, Rina-noona, hello! Did you get the cake?", he said brightly.
"Mhm, here it is," I said, handing him the box, "Sorry, I was running late! I'll be back in 20."
"Alright, no problem, take your time, noona! Wonwoo-hyung will be waiting outside the practice room for you."
I nodded and quickly said goodbye, then booked it back to my apartment, which thankfully was a five minute walk from the Pledis building. I threw on a simple floral dress under my long winter coat and headed out, texting the members that I was on my way. When I got there, Wonwoo was at the entrance to help me pass security and lead me up to their practice room.
"Rina, are you ready?" Wonwoo asked. He was one of the members I was closest with since we were the same age.
"Yeah, I finished everything on the list and barely made it on time, so I think I'm good," I said, still panting to calm my breath from running to the building earlier.
"That's good. You look great today, by the way", he said, smiling.
"Thanks man...wait, that was random, why?"
"No reason" he replied, still smiling, "Okay, wait out here, I'll come get you in a sec." We stopped in front of their practice room and I watched him go in. I noticed that the lights were off inside.
That's odd, why couldn't I go in with him?
A few minutes later, the door swung open and I was immediately shocked by what I saw.
"Rina 바보" a lighted poster greeted me.
Oh, my gosh, wait...
"There's a lot of music out in the world, but you're my favorite Song"
"From the start, you pulled on my heartstrings and I fell for your sweet melody"
"You and I make perfect harmony" I was already in tears before reading the final sign.
"Marry me?" Joshua came out from behind the sign, then bent down on one knee in the only spot of light in the dark room, presenting a (most likely 17 carat) diamond ring.
This was it, there would be no more looking.

.
.
"Yes."
My voice barely came out through my tears but he and everyone else heard me loud and clear. In a flash, Joshua scooped me up in his arms and kissed me deeply and passionately over and over, both of us overwhelmed by what had just happened. The lights came on as the other SEVENTEEN members cheered all around me, party poppers going off to celebrate the occasion.
"Rina Song, you know I love you so, so much", Joshua said in between the kisses, his eyes also filling with tears.
"I love you so much, too, Joshua Hong. Thank you for being my one and only gentleman."

A/N AHHHHH THIS IS ITTTTTT WE MADE IT :')
Definitely a lot of mixed emotions. I'm happy and proud that I was able to write this story for all of you and see it to the very end. The storyline definitely evolved so much from what I'd originally planned but I'm happy with how everything turned out. Also sad that it ended though...I want to keep writing for sure in the future when I get new ideas (and more time bc university is already kicking my butt ;-;)!
Most importantly, though, thank you for all the reads, comments, and votes on my story, and for being with me every step of the way! I love all of you and your feedback definitely kept me motivated to keep going (I was so sure no one was gonna read my book at all, haha).
Bye for now!!
