Lilac looked down from were she was perched on the top of the old falling apart barn, lying low so that the bandits family couldn’t see her. Her eyes darted around looking for any kind of movement or anything suspicious. She saw nothing so slowly climbed down from the building and tip toed over to the buses that surrounded the bandits’ house and washing line. She was silently taking of a t-shirt when she heard from behind her ‘Stealing again are you?’ Lilac spun around to see jack the bandits son standing with his back leaning against the houses brick wall

‘Um…Hi Jack, Just borrowing some cloths’ Lilac greeted him with a grin Jack smile then made a loud fake sigh

‘Borrowing is when you return cloths’

‘Well here then’ lilac stepped forward then produced some very expensive looking jewels from the belt sack ‘ill buy them from you’

‘Have you ever heard the saying it isn’t all about money’ Jack chuckled ‘Well you better go before my dad comes to see were ive gone to and anyway we shouldn’t be talking to each other because we are enemies’ Jack explained with a wink ‘ unless you want to join forces’ he added as lilac turned to go

‘You know I work in pairs only’ Lilac said with a chuckle

‘Why don’t you drop the dragon and join me?’ Jack asked, from behind you could see lilacs shoulders shake from laughing so hard ‘If Rutilus had heard you say that your head would be off already’ Lilac teased then waved goodbye and dissolved into the shadows of the forest. Jack heard his dad call for him ‘Yes, you’ve got one strong partner’ he muttered to himself as he turned and ran off.
