Prepareing

I stood silent. Maybe, just maybe they won't ask me.

"So do you know about the rumble?" Steve asked me. Why can't I get away from questions like this.

"Why do you think I would know?" I replied. Maybe because I said I like fights.

"Listen we need help. We need all the people we can get. Maybe you could get some info from your friends about it." Darry explained.

"Well one thing for sure is that if there is a rumble Alex's brother will be there. He used to play football. He caused an issue." Well let's say he is one who blamed me for his sisters death.

"Whats his name?" Someone asked as I was stuck in space.

"Oh it's Kendal. I don't really like him."

"Well do you have any info on the rumble?" Why must Darry ask all these questions?

"I don't know when it is but I do know that it will be a fair fight."

"Good. Will you fight?"

"Ya I will. I'll fight with you guys. Regardless if I'm grease or not. I can take it."

Out of nowhere Pony flips out.

"No. I don't want you hurt. I love you to much." He had sadness in his eyes.

"Listen Emma it's tonight. Get help." Darry said.

Nolee might want to help. She's like me. She doesn't care what people think. Annie won't help.

"I might have one person to help." I have to call her.

Quickly I step out onto the porch and unlock my phone. I dial her number hopeful she will answer. She sent me to voicemail.

"Nolee, have your boyfriend get you to Pony's house soon we have to talk. Oh and bring Annie with you! Thanks Emma." I hung up. Oh geez she has to come. But as I turn to go back inside I saw her, Annie, Johnny, and Soda walking down the street.

So they came in and got all caught up on everything. As I said Annie wouldn't fight but Nolee would.

We stayed at the house till around seven. I am scared out of my mind. But I can't let Kendal win. Now I have to face the music.
