Brian coughed before pressing Jeni a bit tighter against him. They had come back from their peculiar walk, and they were now sitting in the living room of Jeni and Bonnie's flat. Their eyes were laid on the TV, watching a random show. Jeni's eyes looked up to the clock and she sighed.
“For God's sake, where are Roger and Bonnie? It's almost time for dinner!”
“Calm down, my love, they mustn't be far!” Brian smiled at her. “And you know how Roger is!”
“Do you know how Bonnie is?”
They chuckled, and Jeni stood up, placing her hands on her hips. She sighed loudly and spun round to face Brian.
“Well, I'm going to prepare the table, then. That'll be one thing less to do!”
“Alright!”
Brian stood up too and followed Jeni to the kitchen, ready to give her a helping hand. He took a table cloth, which he spread on the table of the dining room, before running back to the kitchen. He grabbed some plates that he placed on the table, while Jeni arranged knives, forks and glasses around them. She laid table towels on each plate, before smiling widely.
“That'll be okay for now. We should keep the drinks fresh in the fridge, I'll get them later, when Bon' and Rog will be there.”
“Okay! What do you want to do until they come?”
“I have no idea. Do you want to listen to some records?”
“Alright!”
“If you don't want to, feel free to tell me, Bri! I'm not a tyran!”
Brian laughed, shaking his head. He made one step toward Jeni and pressed his lips against hers. Her mouth stretched into a warm smile, and her hands tenderly took his. Walking as if she was dancing, she led him to her bedroom, where most of her records were. She knelt down before her turntable and took a look at what she had. Brian bent over her, resting his chin on the top of her head. His hazel eyes were not focused on the records, but on Jeni's hands. Her thin fingers were dancing gracefully on the records, making them pass before their eyes. He smiled, kissing her hair.
“What do you want to listen to, Bri?”
“I don't care, play your favourite record.”
“I don't have one. They're all my favourite records.”
Brian lightly chuckled and knelt down behind her, wrapping his thin arms around her waist. He closed his eyes, as he could smell the delicious scent of her neck, which appealed him. He could not resist from kissing it. Jeni laughed, raising a shoulder to her ear.
“Brimi, you're tickling me!”
“I'm sorry, darling.”
“But I like your kisses.”
“Do you?”
“Mmh mmh!”
She giggled and tilted her head to the left, removing her hair from her neck, offering it to Brian. The latter grinned and rested his lips on it, giving it sweet and tender kisses. Her fingers clenched over the records they were holding, and she shivered. She closed her eyes and raised an arm, so she could run a hand through his hair at the same time. After a while, she spun round and wrapped her arms around Brian's neck, tenderly pressing her lips against his, while his hand wandered on her back. After a few minutes of kissing, they finally broke off their embrace, and Jeni stared at him lovingly.
“You still haven't told me what record you wanted to listen to.”
“Pick one randomly.”
