POV N
It was almost time to leave heaven. Today I was going to visit Earth for the first time. If it's true that I was a human being before arriving to heaven, I wish to remember how it was. Maybe if I had memories of how humans live, I would be less nervous.
Jin-angel's training was good, but he only taught me how to survive. Things like eating is for when my stomach growls and hurts, medicine is like a miracle cure to humans, water is essential for life, big metal things with tires are dangerous, and so on. That's basically everything I've learned besides other essential survival skills in the last seven days and few hours. Now I'm sitting on a chair outside an office waiting for Alex and Jin to call me. I don't know what they are doing in there, but they told me to stay still and to don't move a muscle of curiosity until they say I can.
Suddenly, the door flew open revealing Jeonghan-angel.
"Hakyeon-angel, you may come inside." He said allowing me to get in.
As I entered, I looked around. As always the place was all white, but in the middle there is a blue table and in each side were Alex and Jin. I walked closer to them until I saw what was on that table. I gasped and I felt my body froze. There on the table was a body... my body.
"N-angel, please come." Alex said.
I walked close to them still shocked because of the scene in front of me.
"How is-?" I tried to ask. "How?"
"That was my reaction too when I saw mine." Jin said smiling.
"This is your body, N-angel. Well... we fixed it with God's permission to do so." Alex explained.
"But how? How is that me when I'm me?" I asked shocked.
"Well, you see. An angel is the soul of the body. In heaven we can feel, touch, see, hear, and smell, but if you go to Earth or any planet as a soul you will be what humans call "a ghost"." Alex explained. "Now... if you go to Earth as an Earthly Angel, you go as a human. Not an angel and not as a soul or a ghost."
When he was done explaining, I looked behind me. My wings were as white as a cloud, I cannot imagine myself without them. Since I have seen my human posters, I know that they do not have wings.
"What will happen to my wings?" I asked caressing my left wing.
"They will stay here." Jin responded.
"No..." I whispered. "I cannot give up on them."
"You will not, N-angel. Don't worry." Alex said grabbing me by the shoulders. "You don't have to worry about that. Think of it as... as you are dressing yourself as a human and you'll be playing along with what you've learned from us about them. You will not lose your wings. They will wait for you here in heaven, but you cannot go to Earth with them."
"Why not?"
"Because humans don't have wings and it would be strange to see someone like you."
"Why can't I just go with them and pretend that I'm dressed like an angel instead of a human?"
"You are so innocent, my little N-angel." Alex replied. "You need to look like a real human because humans are afraid of what they don't understand and they could take you away to study you and as an excuse, they will call their actions curiosity."
"Wise words from Alex. Trust him, Hakkye. He knows what's best. God tells him what's best." Jin said.
"Okay..." I whispered. "How does this work?"
