Chapter 20

POV N

After I was locked out of the building where Leo and the guys were, I decided to find Jeonghan, so he could help me get in. Sadly, Jeonghan was not longer around and since it was raining I might never find him here. I decided to walk through the street and search for a place where I could avoid getting wet.

When I was crossing the street, someone tackled me to the sidewalk. When I looked up, it was non other than Seungcheol.

"You really need to look both sides of the street before crossing." He said before standing up.

"I'm sorry... it is my first day outside and alone since I came here." I excused myself.

"It's fine, but seriously look both ways because there'll be a day when I'm not around." He warned me. "What are you doing here without Leo hyung?"

"I got locked out of the building they call company. Now, I was trying to get covered from the rain." I answered. "Could you help me to enter the building?"

"No, I don't think so. There's a horrible grumpy guard in there that doesn't let anyone inside. Not even a celebrity from another company." Seungcheol explained. "Let me just get you to my home and I'll call Leo later."

"Alright, but... what if he gets worried?"

"It's fine. He won't freak out about it." He assured. "Now, let's go before the rain gets worst."

With that, we went to his place without being able to tell Leo or the guys where I was.

I was in Seventeen's living room. The guys let me stay in their home while the rain stops. I stayed the afternoon of yesterday and this morning. Right now, I'm hoping that Leo is fine and that his depression doesn't get worst.

I was sitting with Jeonghan, Joshua, Seungkwan, and Hansol talking about heaven and Earth. The doorbell rang and Seungkwan went to open the door.

"Ugh... so irresponsible of you to lose an angel."

"What?" I heard someone ask in shock.

"I mean, God lets you borrow one of his angels and you leave him alone in the rain. Now that he's human, he could get sick, don't you think?"

"I..."

"You nothing!" He screamed. "You are just too irresponsible."

"Shut up, Seungkwan!" Jeonghan said behind him after he stood up and walked to him. "At least he lost N-angel. It is not like Hansol, who left you die electrified in that scientific fair."

"That only happened once!" Hansol screamed defending himself.

"Hello, you must be Leo. It is nice to meet you. I am Jeonghan." Jeonghan said getting closer to him.

"Yeah... I'm Leo."

"Of course you are. Hakyeon has talked about you and some other guys."

"He talks about me? That's great! Does he happen to remember something before he died?" Leo asked.

"No... wasn't he with you yesterday?"

"Yes, he was."

"Lying is bad!" Seungkwan exclaimed.

"Leave him alone, Seungkwan!" Jeonghan screamed back. "And he was with Hakyeon-angel yesterday... in the morning."

"Can I get Hakyeon back?"

"Sure! Come in..." Jeonghan answered.

Leo came inside the apartment as I heard Jeonghan saying "N-angel, your human is here." I ignored Seungkwan's words about "your irresponsible human" and I think Leo did too. Leo smiled and got closer to me. He looked relief as he kneeled down and hugged me.

"Hey..." I heard him whispered. "How did you get here?"

"I was locked out of the building yesterday, so when I bumped into Seungcheol he decided to bring me here."

"Okay, it's fine. I should have brought you with me to the office." He answered smiling. "Let's go home, alright?"

"Home!" Seungkwan screamed behind him. "You will not take him with you! You lost him which means he will stay here."

"Seungkwan, do not start with this. You know that it is against the God Department rules." Jeonghan objected making Seungkwan gasp.

"And since when do you care about rules?" Seungkwan asked before turning around. "You are staying, N-angel."

"But... I need to go with him. He is the human who misses me!" I whined.

"Yeah... I don't care what you say, Seungkwan. He's coming with me." Leo said pulling me by the arm.

"Oh... you dare to fight with an angel? I will warn you that it is a dangerous thing to do! You will get seven years of bad luck!"

"What are you... a mirror?" Leo asked confused.

"It is not true. Angels can send you bad luck if a human makes us do something against the rules, but not because of this." I informed him.

"Yeah, stop lying, Seungkwan. If you keep this up, you will need to give Kyungsoo a visit." Jeonghan agreed.

"I am not lying." Seungkwan said. "He is about to fight me, that will give him the seven years of bad luck."

"You do realize that you said that out loud and that I'm not actually trying to fight you." Leo interrupted looking at Seungkwan.

"Then, I am going with you." Seungkwan said before Hansol appeared, took him by his arms, and pulled him away.

"You can leave now..." Hansol said while Seungkwan tried to fight against him.

"Thank you..." Leo said.

We went out hearing Seungkwan screaming that he would find us and saying that Leo was too irresponsible for losing me. Once we got out, the guys were waiting for us in the van. Leo waited until I got in because he could tell that I did not want to go inside the van. When we were all sitting down, Ken started driving and the guys were looking at us until Leo spoke.

"It took an eternity to get out of there. Seungkwan just made a chapter that I will never forget."

"Seungkwan is alive?" Hyuk asked.

"He is an angel." I said. "He said that Leo was irresponsible for losing me."

"All of us were irresponsible." Leo said. "But don't worry. We will make it up to you."

"Yeah!" Exclaimed Hyuk. "I will cook for you, hyung!"

"No, you will not..."

And at that moment, Leo and Hyuk started to fight the whole drive back to the apartment about who was going to cook for me.
