Chapter 16

POV N

It was my third day on Earth and I was still on Leo's bed. He always wakes up before me, which is weird because the guys say that he sleeps more than them. Leo also looks tired in the morning. I think I bother him while I sleep... maybe my pillows bother him. I do not know and he does not tell me what happens at night.

After brushing my teeth, I went to the kitchen and saw Leo looking at Hyuk. Leo seemed to be irritated.

"Are you okay?" I asked them.

"Yeah..." Leo replied.

"He's just mad at me because I made breakfast." Added Hyuk.

"You cheated!" Leo exclaimed.

"No, I didn't. I just happened to put my alarm clock at four in the morning to make breakfast."

"You are so childish!"

"No, you are. Who's the one annoyed because I made breakfast for mom?"

"I-"

"Okay! Please stop..." I said. "You need to sleep, Hyuk. It's not good to wake up that early and then work!"

"That's right!"

"You too, Leo. Stop making this a weird game. I will eat whatever you guys make and I will love you both equally."

"So... you do love us!" Hyuk exclaimed before rushing to hug me. "I knew you would love me!"

"He said both!" Leo exclaimed.

"I hear what I want." Hyuk said calmly.

"What's going on? Is it hug Hakyeon day?" Ravi asked.

"We can make that happen!" Replied Hyuk.

"No! Leave him alone, Hyuk." Leo said.

"It's fine... I do not mind." I said smiling.

"Let's eat! I'm starving!" Ken screamed.

After we ate breakfast, we went out and they all hopped in a big metal thing. It was the dangerous metal object with tires... only bigger. I gulped and stopped walking.

"What's wrong?" Leo asked.

"That is a dangerous big metal object with tires. I do not want to get in there."

"Me neither, but I need to go to the company today or Ken will make me salty rice and burned meat again." He said before shivering. "Let's go."

"I do not want to. Not only does it kill you, but now it eats you."

Leo turned serious and the others who apparently were listening to our conversation turned around and looked at me with concerned faces. Everyone stayed awkwardly silence and I stood there not knowing if I said something wrong.

"You remember?" Leo asked in the verge of crying.

"I remember that I was told in heaven to stay away from big metal objects with tires."

"So... you don't remember how you died?" Ravi asked.

"I know that it had to do with something like that." I said pointing at it.

Again, everyone was silent. They all looked at me weirdly. Nothing different from before, until Hyuk spoke.

"It's okay, N hyung. This is a van and it doesn't eat. We just sit on it to move around."

"Why would we move in that when we can just walk?"

"We would die if we walked to the company." Ken said. "Just get in and we'll show you that nothing bad will happen."

"Okay..." I whispered walking towards the van.

It was amazing how fast a van can move. In less than ten minutes we arrived at the building that the guys call "company". I still don't trust big metal objects with tires, but it really was faster than walking. Before we got out of the van, Ravi stopped us.

"Wait! What would happen if we enter with hyung? Will they recognize him?"

"I don't think that would be a problem." Leo answered.

"Oh, but it is. What if this becomes a problem?" Ken asked.

"Am I a problem?" I asked confused. "I can walk back to the apartment."

"What? No! You're staying with us, mom."

"Hyuk... stop calling him "mom" already." Hongbin said.

"But it's been so long!" Hyuk whined.

"This is not about calling him "mom". This is about us realizing that he could mean chaos." Ravi said.

"Do not call him "chaos", Ravi. I mean it." Leo said glaring at Ravi.

"I have an idea!" Hyuk exclaimed. "I'll give him my hoodie!"

"And then, what?" Hongbin asked. "He still has a face."

"Well... don't you guys have something else?" Hyuk asked looking at us.

"I have a mouth mask!" Ken answered. "Ravi, give me your glasses."

I felt out of place in the van when they noticed that the company staff could recognize me. When we entered, they introduced me as Leo's shy friend from high school and avoided any questions about my name. Now, I'm watching Ken talking to a choreographer while Hyuk dances in a corner, Ravi disappeared in a room and told me that he had to show me something later, and Leo was called by someone who he named "manager". I was told to stay still and to not talk to anyone unless they are with me.

At that moment, I could only wonder where is Leo and what is he doing right now...
