Suraiya's pov
After hearing the news of the competion, I called my manager Clarissa and told her that she didn't need to be sorry and that I actually missed skating already and she just chuckled at that. I was soon then called down to eat with everyone else-including Jacob who seemed really happy. No one questioned why he was really happy and everyone was talking except for me. I didn't know what to say and now that Jacob was here what if I accidentally blurted out that I was spying. So instead I kept quiet and ate a bit of the stew and a bit of the salad. This'll maintain my weight. I should run tomorrow morning. I thought. Then all of a sudden Julian said "raiya don't you have competition after tomorrow?"

I smiled at him before nodding. "I do, how did you know? I didn't tell anyone yet." He just smiled with that signature smile of his and said"word travels fast especially since you're versing someone big this time."

"Yeah I heard the person I'm versing is hard to beat, Clarissa told me." I said. The doorbell rang and Max ran to go get it.

"It's Clarissa, suraiya's manager. Can I come in?" Max then looked at me to see if I knew her and I said to let her in. I ran over to her and gave her a big hug "I've missed you Clair!" She hugged me back and said "I missed you too kiddo."
She raised up a bag and I squealed "is that my outfit inside there?" She nodded happily and I clapped my hands in excitement. "But for right now raiya you have to go practice." I smiled at her softly and agreed. "I will but let me help clean up first and you should eat as well."

We all returned to our seats to eat again as Julian said "suraiya you're actually going to go practice, it's going to be late."
I smiled at him "it's okay, because I get to keep doing what I love."

Clarissa then said "I don't get it either, she once stayed practicing until 4 am in the morning and she had a competition at 8 in the morning. They all looked at me in shock. "What. I had to perfect my choreo." I said. And after what seemed like eternity Jacob spoke-to me at least. He was talking to the others while we were eating but I just never joined the conversation.

"Suraiya you sure this is a good idea. It's going to be really late." He said softly and I coldly just said "it'll be fine. I'm fine. I can handle it." I got up from the dinner table and went to help clean up. I didn't even let him finish talking to me. Because I coldly shrugged him off.

We were finally done cleaning up now and I was ready to leave. Before I left I hugged the girls one and said a quick goodbye as they said that in a bit they'd visit me. I went inside Clarissas car and was headed to the rink. When I got there the familiar felling of skating hit me. I can skate again! I changed into proper attire and did some stretches. Then warmups and finally practice. I had already seen my choreography of the song I wanted to use which was called 'Let me down slowly' and he in a couple hours sent it to me. And so I practiced it over and over again.

"Raiya fix your leg in the axel." Raiya bend your back a bit more. Okay ten. Come here raiy." Clarissa said, and I while heaving hard went over to where she was. Even though Clarissa was my manager she also knew a lot about skating so since my coach wasn't here right now she'd be checking my skills instead.

"Sweetie, what's wrong with you today? You're excited to skate but your heads not in the game." She said worriedly while passing me a bottle of water.

I took it and took a sip before replying back to her" I don't know Clair, I really do want to skate but I just, I don't know. There's something off." Just then everybody from my group came to see me skate like they promised but I didn't know the guys were coming, I thought it was just the girls. I smiled at them and tried not make eye contact at the person who's partially the reason of what's distracting me. Clarissa told them they couldn't see my new routine but I have one they hadn't seen that I could perform and they all agreed to see.
