Hi lovelies, I'm so sorry for the delay but my Chem and bio teachers have been killing me with tests and quizzes as well as labs. It's ridiculous. Suraiya's free skate performance for the Rostelecom cup will be in detail in the next chapter! I'm almost at my favourite part of the story. Also you don't want to miss the next chapter its actually going to be filled with a lot of action. Suriaya and Jacob will have their last fight... Btw that might be a good thing or might not. I also have a lot of foreshadowing in this chapter so try and guess what might happen in the next chapter! I'm sorry if you don't like long chapters but this one is pretty long, and the next one might be pretty long too. So I'm really sorry if you don't like that. Other than that please enjoy this chapter!Suraiya's pov
The boy Caleb then started to try and take off my scarf as I tried to move my head in a attempt to get him to stop touching my scarf.
"Stop moving! You'll be prettier without it!" He said starting to get annoyed.
But then the guys all started to help him hold me still with their tight hurtful grip as I screamed in terror.
My body lost all strength and I gave up helplessly. There strong hands dig into my skin all of them arguing about what they were going to do to me.
But right when I felt like all hope was gone, I heard a familiar voice.
As someone who I knew would come for me.
Jacob's pov
She wasn't supposed to look like that. And I wasn't supposed to feel that way.
She was supposed to smile happily upon congratulating me about getting engaged. Not look so sad and wretched about it. And I was supposed to be happy to be finally engaged and leave everything with suraiya behind. But instead I was so down. The smiles I placed on my face during that whole time were fake.
The only time I genuinely smiled was when I saw suraiya. I always forgot that someone like her who was always surrounded by people was actually a bit unsocial. She was grabbing a drink and sipping on it elegantly. I looked over to see her look nervous about something. She was still gorgeous nevertheless. Meh eye softened upon looking at her. She was really calming.
That's when she slowly started to make her way over towards Alissa and I. Everything was in slow motion as my eyes never left her figure for a second.
I could still hear Alissa talking to the business man as they were both calling my name. But I couldn't answer them and reply. Instead I was mesmerized by her beauty like always.
She really was perfect and surreal. I didn't know how that was possible. For someone to be so pure and loving like her. My heart fluttered again at the sight of her.
She finally reached the spot where I was standing at and smiled but I could see sadness behind it as she said prettily.
"Congratulations on your engagement. I'm so happy for you. You're already so old now jake. You're not that little kid anymore that used whine over every little thing."
No she can't do that. She can't pretend to be happy and look at me that way. It's not fair. She cant make me remember that she was the one who was always next to me. Can't make me reminisce about the times we had.
She then turned around quickly and made her way out as I impulsively ran after her and called out to her. She didn't stop though and instead kept running with her loud heels hitting the floor as they echoed through my ears.
I turned to look at Alissa with a sad look from the far distance because what I was about to do know is completely selfish, as I mouthed
"I'm so sorry. I'm going after her." Her eyes softened as is she already knew I'd do such a thing. She looked like she was going to cry as she headed inside my house.
