Suraiya's pov
It's been a couple days since the fun fest and I had to start packing my stuff for the camping trip. We were basically going to these beautiful cabins and supposedly 'connect with nature.' Even though we're still allowed to bring our phones and there's going to be wifi. I don't think anyone's going to 'connect with nature' if wifi and phones are there. But I'm not complaining.

It was Sunday 2:35 pm right now and we have to be at the school tomorrow at 4:30 a.m to drive to the cabins. Mama has been telling me to get my luggage ready because I always leave that stuff till last minute.

"Mama where are my sneakers. And my Nike hijab?" I yelled out to her, while she was cooking in the kitchen.

"It's in my pocket." She yelled out and I pretended to be serious so I replied "really?"

"No stupid, I don't know where your stuff is, I don't know where everything is. But check downstairs. They might be there." She yelled back and I chuckled.

I went downstairs and (not surprisingly)I saw my shoes in the shoe closet. Even though my mom says she doesn't know where everything is, I know she does.

We had two show closets. So even though I don't use the downstairs and the upstairs instead, my stuff was still down here. It was probably Sana or Deen. Or Amir- Nah It's definitely Amir.

I ran back upstairs and kissed my mom on the cheek. "Thank you mama. See, you do know where everything is." I told here and she just kicked me out of the kitchen but not before reminding me to get extra pins for my scarf. Which thank goodness she reminded me cause I had totally forgotten about them. I yelled a thanks to my mom again and went upstairs to my room. I got the pins that were placed on a tiny pillow and was going to put it in my bags when someone barged in the room-very loudly.

It was deen. His hair looked disheveled and he looked at me with a pout and watery eyes. "Hey buddy what are you doing in here?" I asked softly and he just took my hand and pulled me to my bed as we sat on the edge. I pulled him up on the bed as he sighed. "Soosoo are you leaving forever? I'm sorry I always listened to Amir and bothered you. I'm sorry if I made you sad, it's just that it was fun. But Amir says you're leaving forever because I was being mean to you." Deen said with his adorable voice, as tears came out of his eyes.

I kissed the top of his head and I smiled. "Deen, I'm not mad at you, and I'm not leaving because of you. I'm also not leaving forever. Amir was probably joking. I'm leaving for only 7 days. It's a field trip. I'll be here before you know it." After hearing what I had to say his face lit up.

"So you're not leaving forever and you're coming back?" He asked one more time and I nodded "I'm coming back. Don't worry." I reassured him. He ran out of my room yelling "soo soo is coming back everyone"and Amir then popped out of nowhere and from my door frame said "suraiya, you should've gone along with the joke. It was funny." I held my shoes in my hand before rolling my eyes at his remark. "me throwing my shoes at you and them hurting that face of yours would be funny, not upsetting an adorable 6 year old."

"Okay woman geez, no need to threaten me. I just wanted to tell you to have fun on the trip. But don't do anything I wouldn't do." Amir said ruffling my hair and making it all messy.

"Don't worry I won't do anything that you wouldn't, even though you've done just about everything." I said and he turned around and said "hey, I'm not as haram as you think I am." I raised my eyebrows at that and he just mumbled "why am I having this conversation with you." And I chuckled before saying "byeee Amir, don't miss me too much. Even though I know you will."
He yelled back "I won't miss you." And I kept laughing.
