Y/n's POV:

I followed the sound and saw that it was my friend, Annie crying in the girls bathroom.

"Annie?! What happened?" I said worried as soon as I saw her
Annie: Well... You know that I like Payton, right?
You: Yes, you have told me.
Annie: I... I saw him kissing Grace *starts crying again*
You: What?! But she's dating Jason!
Annie: I know... At first I thought it was just me seeing stuff but they were actually kissing.
You: What the hell? That's way too bad... Even for her. I feel bad for Jason too though.
Annie: Should we tell him? Or do you think that it will make Grace hate you more than she already does?
You: Let's just keep it secret for now alright?
Annie: Okay...
You: And I am sure that there are many cute boys that like you! You shouldn't cry over him...
Annie: You are right. Thanks for coming!

I pulled her into my arms and we hugged.
"No problem!" I said.

Then we walked out and went to our lockers to take our books for the next class. Near there, we noticed Conner talking with Chase.
You and Annie: Hey guys!
Chase: Hey
Conner: Hi. Did you meet Chase? He is so chill.
You: Indeed he is!

A small smirk appeared on Chase's face.

Annie: Hey Chase! I am Annie.
Chase: Nice to meet you!
You: I see you guys became friends quickly huh?
Chase: Yeah, in fact, I told him that I used to play basketball back in Ohio and he suggested that I try out for the school team.
You: Oh that's great news!
Conner: Yeah! We are playing tomorrow so I'll go check his skills and then we'll practice with the rest of the team. After school. You two can come and watch our practice if you want.
You: For sure!
Annie: We'd love to!
*bell rings*
Conner: Ugh anyone got maths 2nd period?
Annie: I do!
Conner: Cool! Wanna walk to class together?
Annie: Sure! Bye guys!
