I flopped down on my bed extremely tired from my long day of flights from America. I was now staying at the most inexpensive hotel in London that I could find. Since smoking was allowed on the floor that I was on, I felt the need to get some fresh air. I finally decided to leave the smelly room and head to the café down the street. After a good fifteen minutes of walking on the side walk which wasn’t that bad seeing as I was wearing my favorite pair of converse. When I got to the café the sign said that smoking was prohibited and I did a little victory dance. Yes I’m weird no need for people to see me actually being weird. After talking to a very serious looking man he led me though the café to the back where he asked me to stay for the duration of my visit. I thanked him wondering why a simple café such as this would need assigned seating and security guys. After ordering a hot chocolate from the waitress I quickly pulled out my book. It was a tattered version of the Hunger Games. I was going on my third time reading the series and they never seemed to get old. Every time I reread them I find a new part that I like or a bid of information that foreshadows the events to come. I hear voices to my left and I glance around to see only my reflection in the glass across the café. I see my green eyes staring back with freckles dotting my cheeks and a lopsided bun of brown hair hiding under my grey hat. Little did I know that the beautiful glass walls of the café were double sided and the people on the other side peering in would change my life. (The people on the inside see mirrors and the people on outside can look in without people knowing.)
