I woke up to a breeze making me shiver. I groaned and rolled over and opened my eyes to see my window open.

I shot up in bed and looked around the room. Nothing seemed out of order and everything looked the same as it did when I went to bed.

Looking at the other side of the bed there was a small indentation on top of the blankets as if someone had slept there at night. The smell of musky pine lingered in the spot.

"What the fuck." I said aloud to myself.

"What the fuck!" I screamed louder as I jumped out of bed terrified of the thought that someone had slept in my bed with me and I didn't even wake up.

I have never been so disturbed and terrified in my life. I didn't want to call my parents because they would make me come home if they found this out, and it's not like I have anyone to tell in this town since I don't know anyone.

I need to get my own place now. I needed out of this motel.

I packed all my things quickly in my luggage and hurried out of my room. The front desk had a be back in 15 minutes sign on it so I left the key behind the desk and quickly went out to my car. I shoved my bag in the backseat of the truck and climbed in the drivers seat turning on the engine.

What sick minded person would sneak in someone's room just to sleep next to them. They didn't steal anything of mine. Not even my wallet.

I drove straight to the small single real estate agent building in the town and quickly walked into the office.

"I need an agent." I said quickly to the receptionist.

She looked up at me annoyed with my tone of voice and picked up her phon pressing a number.

"Yes, a woman says she needs an agent." She said than hanging up the phone.

"First door on your right." She sir chewing gum while giving me the directions. Normally it would have grossed me out  but today I don't think that's possible.

I walked into the room and looked at the middle aged woman sitting at the desk.

"I need to buy a house. What's the fastest house I can move into."

"Thank you so much again." I said thanking Helen, the real estate agent which pulled off getting me a house in one day.

I mean I doubt it was hard. It was an abandoned house which was owned by the town. And since I had enough money to pay in full they let me move in right away.

It was regularly cleaned every month so when I walked into the small cabin like home it was decently cleaned. It had all the appliances and a single couch and mattress which came with the cabin.

It was a very small one bathroom house with a decent sized kitchen and living room.

The kitchen was to the right when you walked in and the living room to the left with a fireplace and two big windows to show the forest around it. The back door leases almost straight from the front door down a hallway. There is no basement and the upstairs is a loft style attic bedroom.

It's perfect for one person.

It was isolated from the downtown, a good twenty minute drive but I didn't mind. It was actually ideal so that way Iris can run without people seeing her.

Iris. She hasn't spoken to me since the rejection. I can feel her presence but she has refused to come out.

I hugged Helen before she got into her own little car.
