It really was a flesh wound so I should have been released in a few hours but someone demanded I stay overnight for observation which is why I wasn't released until the next morning. Kongpob questioned the staff repeatedly until he felt almost alright with their decision. He's going to be a little more overbearing for a while but I'll just deal with it. Had it been him he wouldn't even get to go the bathroom by himself anymore.

We get to the house and everyone looks concerned. Scanning the crowd I notice that one friend in particular looks like it's been a bit too much for him. I walk over to him and stand directly in front of him. His head is down and I can hear the sniffles.

"Bright. I'm OK." I say and he throws his arms around me allowing himself to cry.

I cry too. I haven't seen him this worked up since Toota's death. It hurts holding him up but I stand there and let him have what he needs. He is my friend and I love him.

"P'Bright. P'Arthit is hurt. Can you please...?"

"Oh god! I'm so sorry Arthit. What was I thinking?" He says as he pulls away and swipes at his tears.

"I was fine." I lie.

"Let's get you comfortable." Senior says as he leads the way.

I am seated in an overstuffed chair with extra pillows in case I break. Suddenly I have become a fragile doll. I would complain but between Senior and Kongpob I feel that might be a bad choice. So I sit in the giant squishy chair with pillows stacked around me quietly as we wait for everyone to filter into the living room. Once we're all inside he turns and addresses us.

"After today's incident things are going to change. You will not leave this house without a guard that will be directly beside you at all times. Leaving the house must be approved by myself or Madame. I don't care if you guys are going stir crazy, no one leaves without my knowing about it first." He declares.

"Let's solve this mystery, unlike the rest of you, when I don't go to work the bar doesn't open. If I lose it then I'm done for." Bright says.

"Really, did you think we didn't take care of that? We have one of our men running your bar while you are out so you won't be losing any stock or profit. As for the rest of you, your places of employment have all agreed that due to the situation your positions will be held safe until your return." Madame explains.

"Wow, she's impressive. I mean I know we mentioned it but she took care of it." May whispers to M.

Crying goes off and all of the females run off. I completely forgot that May and M had a kid. He's really good too. He's been here the entire time and hasn't gotten in the way at all. Of course he's four months old and can't move or anything like that. Madame tends to him most of the time. She loves him to death and he seems to like her too.

"So, I hear we're looking for a girl." Prem says.

"See. I told you it was a girl." Prae razzes.

"OK so that means like what 1/3 of the female student body? Because let's be serious, we all know at least 2/3 was after our Kong." Maprang says.

She's right of course. Everyone wanted my husband back in college. But if I'm being completely honest I would say maybe a dozen girls at most looked my way. It's not like I give off that come hither aura that Kongpob radiates.

"I think it's someone we know." Kongpob says.

"Huh? Why?" M asks.

"Because she called him Oon. How many people know that he goes by that? Not very many." He expounds.
