After getting a call from Madame, we make our way out into the middle of nowhere. It's only our group. A lot of vice is still in the hospital from the attack and those who aren't, are dealing with the assailants that weren't killed.

There's a warehouse in the middle of a field with a van parked out front when we pull up. I suppose if I were going to kill someone, this is where I'd do it.  Senior turns and looks at us as we pull beside the van.

"I don't have to remind you about keeping quiet right?" He asks, obviously reminding us to keep quiet.

"Before we go in let me call May, I don't want our little boy having nightmares again." He says winking at me.

"Aw come on. I'm a police officer dammit!" I defend.

"Who throws up at practically every crime scene." P'Dan reminds.

I throw him a dirty look and he holds up a little umbrella. What the hell is that? When the smile on his face grows, I instantly remember and quickly look away, only to have my eyes land on K.O. Dammit. Kongpob covers my eyes but I have feel his body move with laughter. I'm never going to live this down.

"What's with the tiny umbrella?" Senior asks.

"Oh, it's the parasol of protection." P'Dan says easily

"When nong thought I was in trouble he came to save me with it." He explains.

I can feel my cheeks heat up as I have to relive walking in on him and K.O in that position. Then to make matters worse, he went out and bought an umbrella key chain just to torment me. Who even makes such a ridiculous key chain! I'm gonna have to destroy that thing if it's the last thing I do.

"OK boys. May says it's safe to come in."

We walk in and subconsciously I grab for Kongpob's hand. He holds onto it securely. He's really built up Madmae's ferociousness so I'm preparing myself for the worst.  Instead we find an empty room with three chairs. Two of them are occupied by people and unfortunately they look just fine. Except for the fact that Prim is crying.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"That fucker Bomb killed Joy! She didn't even have anything to do with this!" She screams in Tut's direction.

"So why are you yelling at Tut?" I ask.

"Because he let him!"

"Fair enough." I reply as I walk over to Madame.

"So what's the plan?" I ask, since they are clearly still alive.

"I'm torn. This one says that he's been a part of fifteen murders, sixteen if you count their friend. He's probably the only one who knows who they are and where they disposed of the bodies. We could give some relief to a lot of families." She says.

"This one is delusional, I almost think time in a mental hospital would be good punishment for her." She says.

"I see." I reply.

"You're disappointed?" She asks.

"I'm sad. They get to live even though they've ruined so many lives." I admit and turn to walk away.

"Sure they'll be living, but will they be living well? This young man was part of the police force. How do you think he'll fare in prison? And a mental institution is not all fun and games dear. I think letting them live will be a much better punishment." She says clearly having thought this through.

Then she laughs.

"I'm just kidding, of course I'm going to kill them." She says like that's common sense.
