After Dinner

I've been only eating lunch. We are running out of food. I'm going to need to find a place to get food that isn't already aware that I'm probably coming. I played all morning as I walked thru the halls making sure everyone is safe.

"Rock the Path Takers are ready for a trip." said Henry one of my organizers his unruly hair and scar across the entirety of his arm the only evidence of when he was interrogated by the guard to find our home. He is strong and would take any torture to protect his little brother, Ley and big sister, me.

"Thank you tell Charlee he is good to go and ask him to try and get some food our stock is running low." Henry did a little bow the way I do and ran off to inform the Path Takers leader of my order. Cell walked over clearly having eavesdropped on me again.

"Who or what are the Path Takers?" I thought of the little kids forming one of my most alert groups and told him.

"We have teams of three around here each one has a name. I was once the leader of the Stone Movers with Tanner and Annie we are the three oldest kids here Tanner was the first kid I saved. Now that he has betrayed me thou he can no longer be in a team. I still need to make myself a new one before I go out again which could take a while." he started to look nervous.

"Um by the way when will he be coming out?" I didnt like the question but I answered.

"After dinner."
