Monday Morning
Lockwood High SchoolBeats was walking in the hallway with his new headphones on, enjoying how he could ignore everyone like he use to do. But there was one person he couldn't ignore no matter how hard he tried. That person was Beats' best friend, Bonnie.
A short, cheerful freshman who didn't know when to keep her mouth shut. Bonnie pestered while continuously touching Beats' headphones.
"Hey, hey Beats! Can you hear me?! I know you can, c'mon talk to me! It's me Bonnie!"
Beats sighed before moving one of his ears out of his headphones.
"What to do you want Bonnie?"
Bonnie giggled in response.
"Oh well I just wanted to ask how your morning was going until I saw those headphones. They're super cool, where'd you get 'em?"
Beats replied nonchalantly.
"Got 'em offa some guy who was about to trash 'em. Nothing more, nothing less."
Bonnie cheered.
"Wow that's super interesting! Oh and I was also wondering if yo-."
Beats interrupted by holding out his hand before explaining.
"Whatever it is, I'm sure it can wait until lunch."
Bonnie looked down before sighing.
"Yeah totally, it can definitely wait."
Beats nodded his head before continuing to listen to his music, leaving Bonnie by herself in the hallway.
Now I know what you're thinking, oh "what's wrong with you you monster?" "All she wanted to do was talk." Well I say otherwise, me and Bonnie have a friendship with constant up and downs. There's only so much I can tolerate and having to listen to Bonnie ramble isn't one of them.
Beats went to turn his volume up but instead of increasing the sound of his music, he heard that dreadful echo sound again. But for some reason it didn't hurt as much this time. Uh oh, not this bullshit again. Wait a minute what happened to my phone?!
Beats' phone screen was black with a blinking green dot on it. Beats looked around before taking a few steps back causing the green dot to get farther away. Dammit, so it is a map. And these headphones are possessed, well my phone doesn't seem to be coming back to reality anytime sooner. Soooo I guess I'll have to go to this dot wether I like it or not.
Beats proceeded to walk. It was towards the direction of the green dot but the location was truly absurd. What the hell is this some kind of joke, why did it send me to the girls bathroom. This is ridiculous.
Beats opened his eyes then he sighed.
"But this is all to get my phone back, so I guess this is the only way."
Beats took a deep breath before opening the door to the girl's bathroom revealing a girl in school uniform washing her hands. The girl looked up from the sink making Beats blush before gasping.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I was looking for something, I'll be on my way. Sorry, again."
As Beats turned around he heard a demonic voice imply.
"No it's okay, you're just doing your job, isn't that right little demon hunter?"
Beats turned around slowly to see the girl transforming into some black demonic creature. W-what the hell did I get myself into? I'm so screwed!
Beats took a step back when suddenly he felt electricity crackle around the foot he stepped on. Beats widened his eyes before making a run for his life. With each step more and more electricity crackled around his feet slowly reaching his legs. Why am I so fast right now, this is something straight out of a comic book. A pretty cool comic book though.
Beats turned the corner reaching a dead end, causing him to begin panicking in fear. Damn, I'm dead. Beats turned around to see the demon's claw clinging to the wall. The demon laughed.
"No where to run now, IT'S TIME TO EAT!"
The demon charged towards Beats who held out his hand while screaming at the top of his lungs.
"STOP!"
Suddenly electricity sparked from Beats' fingertips up into hallway light creating a shock field in between the two. The demon screeched as it's entire body was getting electrocuted to a crisp. The shock field exploded pushing Beats into a locker, and the demon at the end of the hallway.
The demon coughed.
"You win this round but I'll be back and ready to kill you and everyone in this damned school!"
The demon limped away leaving Beats on the ground, extremely confused. I regret not listening to that store punk.
