Tuesday Night
Lockwood Park

Beats was following his demon locator on his phone. Why the park of all places? Actually where are the night time joggers and what? Beats' phone returned back to normal making him sigh: "Well, this is it. The spot where four demons are supposed to be. Maybe it's busted or something wrong with it." Beats looked around only to hear crickets and the sound of bushes rustling all over the place. What the hell? Beats walked towards a bush with his electric blade in hand, prepared to strike. A bunny jumped out of the bush making Beats sigh a breath of relief. Suddenly the poor bunny was snatched by a fleshless hand which squeezed the life out of the bunny. The hand tossed the bunny aside slowly causing the hand to regenerate skin. What the hell is going on?! The hand pulled a large demonic figure onto the surface. Beats steadied his blade while asking: "Who the hell are you bastard? And why'd you kill that innocent bunny?" The demon chuckled: "I am Cos the blood Dweller, that bunny was supposed to be you but I missed. Vision isn't that great without blood. And you must be the new demon hunter right?" Beats responded: "Yeah, And I already hate it." Coz remarked: "Oh you hate it hmm, well maybe you should just let me take your blood so there can be a new demon hunter." Beats objected: "I said I hate it, never said I wanted to quit!" Beats swung his blade but Cos was already behind him smirking evilly as he laughed: "Please, entertain me." Cos quickly backhanded Beats, making him tumble across the grass. Shit, he's faster than the demon girl! Beats slowly stood back up while mumbling: "Guess I'll just speed it up a notch." Electricity crackled around Beats' legs then he began sprinting towards Cos who smiled at the sight of such speed. Beats attempted to kick Cos but he had ducked allowing him to sink his sharp fangs into Beats' leg. Fuck!!! Cos swung his head, flinging Beats up against a tree. Beats groaned as he collapsed on the ground while Cos cackled: "Mhmm, thanks for the blood kid but I think I'll save you for a more fitting time. Besides, no one likes to kick a man when he's down." Beats gripped his leg which had blood pouring out of tiny holes in his skin. Not good, even if he doesn't attack I'll die of blood loss. No power can save me either. Shit, this is bad! Beats managed to grunt: "Where are the others?!" Cos answered: "Oh my three associates are the ones who made this shindig happen. They have the ability to cloud people's mind with a hidden mist. As soon as you walked in here you walked right into this mist, clouding your mind. I'll let you find out for yourself I guess." Beats rubbed his eyes revealing he was in an alleyway, leg still bleeding. Damn, I need help. From someone I can trust not to rat. Beats' eyes widened when he thought of someone he could rely on.

Wednesday Morning
7:08 A.M.
Lockwood Library

Beats was hopping on his pair of crutches with a cast around his leg. Beats mentioned: "Hey, I just wanted to say thanks man. I definitely owe you one." Zach chuckled: "Don't worry about it man, so do you know if they're still targeting you?" Beats thought for a second before replying: "He said he'd save me for a more fitting time. So yeah I guess so." Zach advised: "Oh man, you should really work to get your leg fixed then or they'll just kick you while you're down." Beats exclaimed: "Not him, he doesn't like to kick people while they're down. I learned that much from our encounter." Zach sighed: "Well the real issue here is how are you gonna dance with that girl on Friday?" Shit, he's right. Bonny isn't gonna wanna dance with a crippled person. Beats groaned: "Dammit, I didn't think about that at all. I'll look into it. Thanks for everything man." Zach nodded his head as he walked away. Beats looked straight ahead noticing Bonnie who asked: "Beats, what happened to your leg?!" Beats sighed: "Some stray dog did a number on my leg. I'm okay though, I'll feel better and no time." Bonnie fiddled with her fingers as she asked: "So are you, um not going to the dance on Friday?" Beats exclaimed: "Of course I'm still going why wouldn't I. Like I'm going to let a broken leg stop me." Bonnie fretted: "No, no, no! You don't have to go if your leg is in that condition, it's okay. I can stay with you instead." Beats grunted: "I appreciate your offer but we're going to this stupid dance, together." Bonnie smiled before tightly hugging Beats who sighed: "Don't worry about me I'll be fine. Now get to class." Bonnie nodded her head before skipping towards her homeroom happily. Damn, I really hope that Cos guy comes after the day if the dance. Or there's gonna be some serious issues.

Wednesday Night
8:53 P.M.
Beats Room

Beats was sitting on his bed observing his leg folded on his bed. Dammit, ever since that bastard bit my leg I've felt so weak. I need to get better at fighting or I'm going to die in my next battle. Beats clenched his fist angrily as he looked out of the window observing the moon in its beauty. Sigh, why can't I tell Bonnie about this? I'd feel so much more comfortable being around her knowing she knows my secret. But it can never be like that, ever."
