Chapter 5:Second Calling

7:02 A.M
Tuesday Morning
Beats' Locker

Beats was standing at his locker putting his stuff away into his locker until he grabbed his headphones. He paused for a moment before thinking to himself. Should I wear them during school, is it really worth it. If I get them taken away I'll go insane without them. And what if a demon shows up then what am I supposed to do?! "Sorry Mr.Teacher but I have to go save the school from mythical demons." I'm gonna sound crazy, no. INSANE! Bonnie appeared behind Beats while cheering: "Hey Beats, you okay?" Beats grabbed the headphones out of fear while responding a little jumpy: "O-oh hey Bonnie, what's up?" Bonnie replied with her hands behind her back, bouncing up and down on her tippy toes: "Well um I was just wondering about the dance. Are you sure you're coming or were you just playing the good guy?" Beats sighed as he placed his earphones around his neck: "Of course I'm going, don't worry about me." Bonnie smiled before giggling: "Okay, just checking. See you at lunch!" Bonnie ran off while Beats put on his headphones causing him to hear the echo again. Beats' heart skipped a beat as he thought to himself in fear. Oh God, this sound, my phone. This could only mean that demon chick is in the school again. But where? Beats checked his phone which was pitch black with a green blinking dot, placed not to far from where Beats was standing. Beats lifted his head revealing a highschool girl smiling behind him. Beats turned around to face the girl before gulping: "So it's you again, what are you gonna do transform in front of all these people?" The girl chuckled softly: "Who me? Oh no, that's why you are going to follow me somewhere private." Beats scoffed: "I may be new to this kind of stuff but I'm not an idiot. What makes you think I'm going to blindly follow you?" The girl got serious when she insisted: "Oh you know, if you don't I'll scream rape as loud as I can. Don't wanna have that on you criminal record do ya now huh Beats?" Damn she's got me cornered, I can't do anything. But if I don't she'll kill me for sure, need a plan, need to think of something, anything! Suddenly Bonnie could be heard asking: "Beats, what's going on? Who is she?" Both Beats and the demon's eyes widened in fear not knowing what to do. Shit, now this just got complicated. How the hell am I going to explain this in a way that keeps my identity? Think, think, THINK! The girl responded with an evil smirk: "Well if you must know, I'm Beats date to this Friday's dance. Isn't that right Beats babe?" Beats grunted angrily: "What no, of course not! Bonnie she's lying, don't listen to her!" Bonnie sniffled: "And for once I thought we had something going for us but now I really see your true colors. Goodbye Beats, have fun with your date!" Bonnie ran off whimpering making Beats shout: "Bonnie wait, please I can explain!" Suddenly the demon girl clinged to Beats from behind, feeling his body with her fingers. She whispered: "Let's go practice our dancing shall we Beats babe?" Beats nodded his head before the girl laughed: "Then come on, let's go to the rooftop. There's lot of space up there, c'mon let's go!" I'll make you suffer you damn demon!

7:17 A.M.
Tuesday Morning
Rooftop of Lockwood Highschool

Beats was facing the demon girl who asked: "Should I lead?" Beats replied: "Go for it!" The girl transformed into the same demon from before making Beats back up in fear. The demon laughed: "Heh, heh don't worry demon hunter, that girl will be devastated once you're dead!" Beats objected: "I wouldn't be so sure, I've been studying." Beats changed the song causing his legs to crackle with yellow electricity. Bring it on. The demon smashed her fist down causing Beats to slid away from a punch that nearly broke the rooftop. The demon laughed: "Stay still so I can eat you!" Beats leaped away from the demon's swinging arm. While Beats was in midair he changed the song causing an electric blade to appear in his hand. Die, bastard! The demon chuckled before screeching a terrible sound which made Beats lose concentration and collapse on the ground where he covered his ears. What the hell, it's worse than the echo noise! Argh, what am I gonna do?! Wait! Beats changed the song causing his hearing to become silent, allowing him to stand up. The demon extended its head towards Beats who punched her in the eye. The demon stopped screeching and began complaining but Beats couldn't hear a thing. Beats changed the song causing his electric blade to return to his hand. The demon shouted: "Don't mess with me!" The demon swiped its arm which split into several tentacles. Beats cut a tentacle in half but was snatched from behind by several tentacles. The demon cackled: "I warned you boy, NOW YOU DIE!" Beats grunted trying to break free of the demon's grip but it was pointless. She's really going to eat me, her mouth is to wide to cut anything so I'm screwed. My other modes won't work because I only know one more. Wait just one second, I got an idea! Beats changed the song making his blade disappear and his hands itchy. Beats grabbed the demon's tentacle with one hand making her laugh: "Heh, a little spark like that is supposed to save you? Pathetic!" Beats groaned as he threw his phone at the demon's head making her chuckle: "Heh, really? That's you're final attac-?!" Suddenly a stream of electricity crackled from Beats left hand all the way to the demon's head. She screeched out in pain until her soul was fried to a crisp. Her body collapsed and so did Beats who gasped: "Woah, I can't believe that worked! I did it! Wow, being a demon hunter is tiring." The bell for homeroom ring making Beats sigh with his eyes closed: "Welp, all that's left now is to set things straight with Bonnie. Oh Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie. Shit."
