Sunday Night
Beats' BedroomBeats was sitting at his desk on his phone while Cosette was reading a magazine on his bed. Cosette asked, "So wait, before I call you an idiot explain to me again what happened."
Beats face palmed his forehead before beginning to explain, "Ungh, so I took Bonnie out to this abandoned ice rink and I encountered something strange. It possessed Bonnie's body and it claimed to be a "Devil Spirit". I don't know if it was a girl or boy but it called itself Lust. It told me that I couldn't beat a devil spirit even if I tried to. What does that mean, can I not hit it?"
Cosette folded her magazine up while lecturing, "Okay so I did hear you right the first time, therefore you are an idiot."
Beats objected, "Hold on there, how am I an idiot? I don't understand what it meant."
Cosette sighed, "I guess I really do have to spell it out for you, listen good Beats. Or you'll regret your actions for the rest of your life. Beats turned off his phone before looking straight at Cosette who stated, "This Lust thing is telling you factual evidence, you can't kill it. Others can kill this parasitic creature but not you. Devil spirits gain new host by switching body to body so in short you would have to kill the host in order to kill Lust." Beats' eyes widened as he gulped while Cosette continued, "Now you're starting to get the idea, if you want to get rid of Lust you have to kill Bonnie."
Beats stood up and shouted, "I'm not gonna kill Bonnie, never in my life would I do something so dumb!"
Cosette noted, "I never said you would have too but given the stakes you're in, you may have no choice." Beats fell back into his chair, broken emotionally as he mumbled, "But I don't want to, isn't there another way?" Cosette shook her head before answering, "Unless you can persuade Lust there's no other way. I'm sorry."
Beats fell on his bed face first before sighing in a muffled voice, "I think imma hit the hay, my head hurts." Cosette fluttered her wings lifting her off the bed while advising, "Beats, don't overthink this. Goodnight." Cosette flew out of Beats' room leaving him alone with his thoughts. I'm not going to kill Bonnie, not in a million years. I have to find a way to prevent this, and soon. Real soon.

Monday Morning
Lockwood LibraryBeats and Bonnie were sitting down at computers next to each other. Beats sighed, "You had all that time yesterday to do your English essay, now look at you." Bonnie giggled as she continued typing extremely fast, "Hehe, with all that fun we had at ice rink how could I have focused on English?" Beats blushed he quickly frowned when he noticed Bonnie's eyes were red.
Beats whispered, "What the hell are you doing back here?!" Lust laughed, "Oh so you thought I was joking about you paying for your sins. You're going to suffer just like I said you would." Beats pleaded, "Look hold off, I had a talk with a friend and she opened my eyes. You're right, I can't beat you. I know that much now but I've found an alternative."
Lust chuckled, "An alternative you say, tell me more." Beats explained, "I-If you leave Bonnie's body alone then y-you can have mine." Lust asked, "Heh heh, what are you stupid? The second you let me have your body, I'll make your life a nightmare." Beats sighed, "I'm well aware of the consequences but Bonnie is more important to me." Lust remarked, "Aww, that's cute. Fine, I'll take over your body whenever I feel like it. See you later, Beats."
Bonnie's eyes reverted back to normal causing her to shake head before sighing, "Ungh, I need to get this done!" Beats chuckled before looking at his computer screen in a distraught way. At least this way, Bonnie is safe. Bonnie punched Beats in his arm while laughing, "Quit looking like such a sad sap, your sorrow is reaching me like a disease." Beats laughed, "My bad, heh heh." That's all I'll be able to say when I'm dead, "my bad".

Monday Morning
Lockwood CafeteriaBeats was zoning out sitting a booth, lost in his thoughts when suddenly Zach could be heard asking, "Hey, you alright?" After a second's delay Beats gasped, "Y-yeah, just got some stuff on my mind." Zach whispered, "Demon hunter stuff?" Beats nodded his head making Zach advise, "You'll be okay, you always seem to find a way out of any dire situation. Just go with the flow and I think you'll be fine." Beats chuckled, "Of course, thanks man." Zach noted while walking off, "Anytime man, anytime."
Beats got back into his daze when almost immediately Bonnie sat across from him. Bonnie asked with a look of concern on her face, "You okay Beats, you've been out of it lately. You're not eating lunch today?" Beats replied, "Nah, I'm not really hungry. I'm fine tho, I'm tough as nails remember?"
Beats' fake smile disappeared quickly making Bonnie joke, "Beats I can tell when a person is sad, oh. Is it about what happened at the ice rink yesterday?" Beats was quick to object, "W-what?! No of course not!" Beats was blushing making Bonnie smile as she blushed herself. That's the reason I could never lose Bonnie, she's a ray of hope for me in this dark world. To lose her, would be the equivalent of losing everything.

Monday Afternoon
Lockwood Parking LotBonnie and Beats were standing next to each other as buses were preparing to leave. Bonnie instructed, "Don't forget to text me when you get the chance, okay?" Beats laughed, "Don't worry about me, I'll text as soon as I get the chance." Bonnie pouted, "Good, see you soon. Oh and before I forget." Bonnie got on her tippy toes in order to quickly kiss Beats on his cheek. Beats was in shock while Bonnie blushed before doing a slight jog to her bus. Beats held his cheek in astonishment before smiling. I'm sorry.
