8:47 P.M.
Saturday Night
Beats' Room

  Beats was sitting in a chair texting the girl he believed he was in love with.

Beats: Yoo, what's up?

Bonnie: The sky, duh. 😜

Beats: So childish😒. But seriously what's up? I was thinking we could hang out tomorrow.

Bonnie: Hmm, where?

Beats: There's this abanded ice rink down the block and if we're lucky we can sneak in. Thoughts?

Bonnie: . . .

Bonnie: I mean isn't that trespassing on illegal grounds? We could get in trouble.

Beats: C'mon don't be a stick in the mid, we won't get in trouble. I promise 🤞

Bonnie: Are you sure?

Beats: Would I ever lie to you?

Bonnie: I guess you're right, what time?

Beats: We can leave sometime in the morning, it's still a school night. I'll figure it out.

Bonnie: Okie dokie, see you tomorrow😜

Beats: Alright you goofball😏

  Beats turned off his phone causing Cosette to ask, "Did you kiss that Bonnie girl you went to the dance with?"

  Beats gasped as his cheeks turned red, "T-that's not important! Where the hell were you hiding?!"

  Cosette replied while flying onto his bed, "Won't answer your question until you answer mine."

  Beats sighed, "Fair enough, but that doesn't mean you should be able to waltz in my room whenever you like it."

  Cosette yawned sarcastically, "You know I'm always in here right? More importantly, did you keep your promise?"

  Beats answered, "Yeah we slow danced. Twice."

  Cosette seemed interested when she asked, "Hmm, twice you say. Well you must have like it if you did it twice, right? How was it?"

  Beats leaned back in his chair remembering that magical night while replying, "It was, relaxing. She matched my vibes and she was new to the whole thing so I was surprised. I haven't been that calm in awhile, especially the second time."

  Cosette joked, "Well look at you giving more than a sentence for a response. Is that you expressing your feelings I sense?"

Beats warned, "Don't push your luck, I'm in a goodish mood so don't ruin it."

  Cosette giggled with her hand over her mouth before nodding her head in understandment. Beats fell into his bed while asking, "Hey so now that Coz is dead,  how long do you think I have until more demons come? It can't stay normal like this forever right?"

  Cosette stopped giggling when she informed, "Hmph, I haven't thought about that actually. I'd assume in a couple of days in order to re-establish what Coz created. Why are you asking, you're not worried are you?"
