When I walked down the trapdoor, and the door slammed close. I rushed back up the ladder and tried the door.
"Locked." I said to them we just kept going down. There weren't many steps on the ladder so it was a quick climb down. When I looked around we were on a little area of flat ground about 20 feet by 20 feet.
"Lets just get this over with." said Kelsey looking really mad. There was a small staircase leading down. We all pointed our flashlights down the dark tunnel.
"Looks scary." Christina said.
"Like Kelsey said lets get this over with we can't go back." we started walking down the stairs. I had a sudden feeling of depression and anger like everything wrong in this world was my friend's fault. They must have had the same feeling because I could see the looks of disgust on all their faces.
"Stop he's just toying with our emotions. Just keep moving." Kelsey said. As we walked along I thought to myself where Jace went.
"I think we're here." Kelsey said. My mind was racing with a million things of what this could be. I was the last one to see because I was in the back of the group. When I got to the front I saw what looked like an old town.
