The ground started to shake and rocks were falling.
"We have to go this place is falling apart. Martha must have done something when she went into the ceiling." Jack said looking terrified. He was right. I looked at my watch. I almost jumped out of my skin after I saw what time it was.
"GUYS," I started yelling to them "IT'S 11:50!" We immediately started sprinting towards the stairs we came from. I heard a huge crash as a stalactite crashed into a house on the left of us.
"HURRY!" Kelsey yelled. After almost getting hit by a few stalactites we finally got to the staircase.
"THAT TRAPDOOR BETTER BE OPEN!" Jack yelled. We got up the stairs and climbed up the ladder. As I reached up to grab the door handle I fell back. I felt like something was choking me. That it didn't want me to escape.
"ADAM!" Christina yelled. They all gathered around me on the ground at the bottom of the ladder. I tried to grab the invisible hands grabbing at my throat but I couldn't move my hands. I could see terror in my friends eyes. Finally Kelsey grabbed around my throat before I could black out and the hands were gone as fast as they started.
"Lets just get out of this awful school." I said starting to stand up. When I got to the bottom of the ladder I had a feeling that something bad would happen when we got out.
"What are we waiting for?" Jack asked in a sarcastic tone. I climbed up and grabbed the handle and pushed it with all my strength ,and of course, it opened with ease.
