"What IS that?" I asked.
"Maybe It's a potion." Courtney said sarcastically.
"You are exactly right young lady." Came from behind us. Christina screamed. When I turned around there was the figure of a woman about in her mid twenties glowing green.
"I tried to save them I really did but . . . the spirits got mad at me and killed me and my family. Now I am here to haunt and kill whoever treads on these grounds," She looked at us and smiled. "Thats you." she held up a pointed finger at us. She started screaming and flying towards us.
"RUN!! IT'S MARTHA!!" Jack yelled. Suddenly Courtney spoke.
"I know what I have to do." Then she started running towards the cauldron.
"What are you talking about!" I asked her running along side her. When I looked back I saw that Martha was very close to Christina.
"Just stay out of the way and DON'T follow me." she said. We were only a few yards away from the cauldron when Christina yelled from behind me when I looked back I saw that half of Christina was in Martha. I ran to help Christina but suddenly Martha let go and looked at the cauldron.
"NO!!" She screamed and started flying towards the cauldron. I saw that Courtney was standing by and she looked like she was about to jump in. I just stood there watching as Christina got up and yelled.
"NO COURTNEY DON'T!" The next thing that happened was insane. Courtney jumped into the cauldron then it exploded in a huge display of fire and raining rocks. I looked back at Martha and I saw that she was gone replaced with a little ball of blue light that came up to us.
"Thank you. I really was trying to help but the townsfolk that remained found out that I was a witch and they caught my family and hung them with me." after it finished talking the blue orb shot up to the ceiling and disappeared.
