After about five minutes of walking around the library, I heard a scream. I ran out of the library, looked around and saw Christina, Courtney, and Jack running towards me. Another scream came from lower A, and we all ran to the hallway which seemed to be getting brighter as we got closer. When we got to the stairs that led down to lower A, I saw Kelsey at the bottom of the stairs staring into a glowing black abyss. Jace was right in the middle of it.
"JACE!" We all yelled. As I started running down the stairs, Kelsey stopped me.
"The voice told me that no one can save him," she said. As she looked back at us her eyes rolled back into her head and she continued "You have made a grave mistake treading on these grounds with the intention of trying to disprove us. After tonight only two of you will be alive to tell what happened here, but you will have a horrible curse that will last for years after tonight. The doors will open at midnight and you have five minutes for the two survivors to escape or you two will die." after she finished talking Kelsey fell to the floor.
I heard one last horrible ear splitting scream as Jace was cut in half. I watched him sink into the black abyss, forever gone.
