It looked to be around 100 years old. The buildings were all made of wood and even some of them were made out of dirt. The town was about the size of an average small town today. I looked around and I saw a sign that was half in the ground and half out. The readable part just said Settlement.
"Wow." Jack said. He started walking forward. Kelsey held up her hand and pointed at the ground then back at the ceiling. There was a huge boulder hanging by a net of ropes. As I looked at the ground there was a barely noticeable line of string it went to the wall where there was some activating mechanism that would cut the rope holding the boulder and kill whoever was under it.
"Something doesn't want us in here." Courtney said.
"We have to be very careful when we're walking around this settlement." Christina said. Looking around for anymore traps.
"Hey Kelsey thanks for saving me from getting squashed like a bug." Jack said to Kelsey.
"No problem." Kelsey said with a smile.
"Well lets go into the settlement." I said taking the lead with the others following.
