What Else is New?

[2 YEARS LATER] 

Oliver blocked Roy's punches rapidly as he threw them. Thea sat away from everyone on her phone. Diggle watched Oliver and Roy and winced as Roy got punched in the face and fell. Thea looked up from her phone and slowly got out of her chair. Roy got back up in an instant,"You need to be quicker." Oliver scolded. 

Roy rolled his eyes,"Maybe you should be easier." he growled and punched Oliver square in the face. Oliver staggered back and glared at Roy. Roy shrugged and they both began fighting again. Thea sighed and sat down. Thea looked at Felicity and then to Oliver. They were over, but it was amazing.. That still after one stupid ass thing, Oliver managed to forgive her and move on. Though they weren't together, Thea could tell Oliver missed it a lot.. He missed having someone to go to all the time for comfort. But she was there, and she did it better than anyone. 

Oliver flew back against a metal pole and Roy gripped Oliver's neck in his hand and closed his hand tightly. Oliver choked and kicked Roy in the knee. Roy gasped and fell to his side. "Block all of your body when you go to finish." Oliver instructed. Thea sighed and looked at Roy, she loved that he had his wish.. But she didn't have her's. Her's was harder to explain.. Or, she just didn't want to explain why she had this urge. She just kept to herself. Roy fell to the ground... Again and hit his head on the floor. Thea watched him close his eyes and she got up quickly,

"Roy!" she yelled an ran over to him. Oliver looked at Roy and walked to his desk. He put on his green t-shirt and looked back at Thea and Roy. Roy coughed and held the back of his head. Thea helped him up and on to his feet. She held him close to her and so did he. Roy kissed her and then pulled away. Thea sighed silently and watched Roy put on his red t-shirt. 

"I told you to be quicker, and when I tell you to do something, you do it." Oliver snarled. Roy looked into Oliver's blue eyes and didn't bother being scolded. He didn't care at all. He got what he wanted.. He just knew Thea didn't. After Moira's death he knew she wanted her mother to be here with her through everything. Oliver slapped Roy across the face and Roy kicked him in the knee. Oliver screamed and fell to the ground. Diggle, Felicity, and Thea all looked to Roy and Oliver. Thea ran over and Digg did too. Diggle looked at Oliver,

"Come on." he helped Oliver off of the floor and layed him down on the metal table. Oliver winced at the light in his face and closed his eyes. 

"He's going to okay... Right?" Roy asked shivering. He gulped and looked at Oliver. Diggle cut open Oliver's pants over his knee. He examined Oliver's knee and then looked at Roy.

"He hurt his knee years ago.. Don't know why it likes to act up now." Diggle admitted. Oliver shivered and knew why his knee decided to act up now. Last night.. With Sara... Fighting off a gang, bullets and blood everywhere. Oliver had gotten shot in the knee and had fallen to the ground.. The same way.. 

Felicity looked at Thea and Roy as they looked at Oliver. Felicity got out of the chair and walked over to the table. Not wanting to feel like a complete ass, for not really caring. She cared for him.. She just didn't want to show it anymore. Felicity looked at Thea and Thea's green eyes stared right back at her. Felicity shivered and turned her attention to Oliver. 

"It's broken.. That's for sure." Diggle announced as he wrapped Oliver's leg in a thick bandage. He then put a brace over it and helped Oliver sit up. "You going to live?" Diggle asked sarcastically. 

Oliver glared at Diggle,"If you didn't hear me before, your knee is broken. Broke a bone.. Lucky they trained me well in the army." Digg chuckled cleaning his hands of Oliver's blood. 

Roy looked at Oliver,"I-I'm so sorry.." Roy shivered looking at Oliver. Oliver looked back at Roy then looked at Thea. 

Oliver smiled,"It's not your fault Roy. You were only being quick." Oliver patted Roy on the shoulder and struggled to stand,"And that's how it should always be." 

Roy chuckled,"What else is new?"
