My eyes still pricked with tears threatening to spill but they didn't

I can't believe he would do something like that

I told him everything I mean everything some things I haven't even told Grayson

I loved him but I was just a game to him

He was just a fuck boy that I shouldn't gotten involved with

It's been a month since then and I've been avoiding Ethan at all costs

Not getting up late at night to get a snack cause I knew Ethan would be down there

Whenever I wake up early I would stay in my room till I had to leave not eating breakfast unless i go somewhere

Even at class I moved away from him and sat at the other side of the class room

It broke my heart into millions of pieces and I blame myself for it

You may be wondering why?

Well the reason is because I knew what his reputation was and I still took a risk with it

I knew what I was getting myself into but it didn't stop me

I just hope he's having fun getting stds and hiv

I mean I wrote a story about this kid that's how stupid I was!

I get out of my car and walk into my building and into my writing class with a emotionless expression sitting down and getting out my notebook ready to take notes or do a writing piece

"Ellington I need to see you after class"the professor says out of no where

My heart drops wondering what he has to say

For the rest of the class we just take notes about giving credit if where taking evidence when writing and informational writing piece even though I knew this

The bell rang and everyone packed up and walked out as I walked over to the professors desk

"Hello Ellington you may be wondering why I held you back"he said sending me a reassuring smile and I nodded sending one back

"Well don't worry it's great news"he said and I furrowed my eyebrows curious

"So a nyu publicist emailed me about one of your wiring piece that I sent in because it was truly remarkable"he said and I sat down at the open seat next to him

"I sent it in because you are the best writer you have great potential and this offer could change your life for the better"he said opening his lap top and showing me the email

Dear professor Brennan,
I'm at glad to offer Ellington loveless a full scholarship to NYU to continue her passion for writing in one of the best writing schools in the world. If she chooses to accept this offer please respond quickly slots open and close quickly.

My mouth gaped open in shock

"Is this for real"I asked him and he nodded

"Yes of course I'll do it"I said excitedly bouncing in my chair

"Ellington I'm so proud of you I hope you become a best selling author"he said

"I'm going to give him your email so he can email you about the details"he said making a new mail and started tying

But he stopped and grabbed a paper and pen writing me a excused pass for the next class I had with Ethan

As soon as I got out of the building I squealed and jumped

I couldn't stop smiling it has been the best news I've ever heard since my parents died

I walked into my next class with a big smile giving the teacher the slip and going to my seat

Out of the corner of my eye I could see someone looking at me. I look over and see Ethan looking at me with his eyebrows furrowed

I looked away and continued on with my work

When I got home I was the first one since Ethan had to call an Uber

I go and get a small bag of chips and a water and walk upstairs into my room

Hearing my laptop make a notification sound I walk over to my desk and open it

Seeing an email thinking it's the dean of NYU about the details

I click the message and it opens

Dear ms.Ellington
              I've heard so many good things about you and read your 10 page essay that you did recently in the year. Sorry I could not get back to you I thought it was some other person applying to NYU. But you are no ordinary person. You've been through so much and your able to escape it by writing. So I am offering you a 2 year scholarship to NYU and you will be starting here next week. I will email you your plane ticket and if you want a dorm you can but if not we will get you an apartment close to campus.

I screamed so loud of happiness

My future is just coming together

I don't know what to do I just have to wait for Grayson to get home which is in like 5 minutes

With that time all I could do was read the email over and over again

Then the door gets opened and Grayson's laugh is heard throughout the house

I closed my lap top and ran out of my room and down the stairs almost falling

Once i saw him I started jumping like crazy

"What happened"he asked me laughing

"Come sit down I have to tell you something all of you"I said and walked into the living room

They all sat down as I sat at the foot rest thing

I opened my laptop and started reading the message

Once I finished everyone got up and started screaming

"Oh my gosh Ell your gonna be famous!"Jessica yelled

"I know just imagine what it would be like"I said and they all nodded

"So that means your going to New York"Ethan spoke up and I nodded
