Chapter 10

Cami's POV

After finishing a very relaxing steaming hot shower and turning off the water. Taking the towel off the bar that was on the curtain I begin to dry off.

After placing both feet on the mat I begin to get dressed in black panties, a red sports bra and shorts. Wrapping the towel around my hair after getting dressed, I walked into my room.

Heading over to the bed and picking up a brush, I quickly brush my hair. Storm's tail wags with glee as she smiles.

"Do you even understand how happy I am right now?" I nodded at her before climbing into bed and pull the covers up.

"Sí, sí puedo ver." (Yes. Yes I can see) I say picking up my phone before laying back against the pillow. Storm tilts her head to the side as her tail stops wagging.

"What is it?¿Estás dudando de tus sentimientos por él?" (Are you doubting your feelings for him?) Looking at her for a moment before shaking my head.

"Nothing don't worry about it." Picking up my phone again when it vibrated I read Aiden's message.

"¿Quieres que vaya y pasé la noche princesa?" (Do you want me to come over and spend the night princess?) 

Typing back in an instant.  

"I will let you know but I'm really tired and it's been a long day. I will see you in the morning. Goodnight Aiden."

Sliding down on the bed my phone buzzes again.

"De acuerdo mi amor.(Ok my love) We will see each other tomorrow. Buenas noches cariño(Goodnight sweetheart) I miss you xoxoxo."

Smiling softly I wrote back.

"I miss you too goodnight.Sweet dreams." Placing my phone down on the nightstand I look up at the ceiling fan before sighing softly.

Storm tilts her head to the side again as she looks at me.

"Camilla. What's wrong? Why are you...... Oh... Now I understand. You're afraid to tell our family because you think that they wont approve of him."She says while glancing at me with sad eyes.

I nodded at her before closing my eyes for a moment. "A little bit yea." Storm sighs softly before laying her head on her paws. 

"I'm scared too but you're not alone on this. I'm right here with you. It's better if we do this now, and if they don't approve then that's on them. I'm happy with him and I know for a fact that you are happy with him too. I can see how he makes you feel." 

She says making me open my eyes. "You're right it's our life and we are allowed to make our own mistakes." 

Throwing the covers off then get to my feet, throwing on an old high school t-shirt over my head. I walk out of my bedroom and head to my mom's room. Storm tilts her head to the side again but before she can say anything I knocked on my mom's door.

Ruby opens the door and looks at me. 

"Babe, ¿Qué pasa?"(What's wrong?)

"Mom we need to talk." I say glancing over to Robert then her. Before she can ask I grab her hand and tug her arm gently. 

"All of us. Robert,grandma, grandpa, you and me." Noticing Robert get to his feet and nodding I look at my mother again.

"Sure babe." Mom says as she and Robert follow after me. The three of us make our way downstairs and walk to the living room. Grandma and grandpa both come out of their room and walk over towards us.

Rebecca and Yoan take a seat beside me on the couch as mom and Robert take the love seat. 

"What's going on through that mind of yours?" Rebecca asks sweetly as she lays a hand on my back.

Looking around the room and taking a long deep breathe I finally spoke. 

"I wanted to talk about Aiden." It got so quite in the room that anyone could have heard a pin dropping. No one said a word for a bit and then mom spoke up. 

"Darling you have been with this boy for only a few days. What can you possibly know about him in just a few days? We really don't know who he is as a person. For all we know he may just be saying what you want to hear just so he can get you into bed." 

Storms growls for a moment at that but instantly shuts up as she thought about it for a moment.  

"Mom. I know what you are thinking but I can promise it's not like that at all. Aiden loves me for me. Por supuesto que no lo recuerdas porque han pasado años desde que cualquiera de nosotros lo ha visto a él y a su familia.(Of course that you don't remember him because it's been years since either of us has seen him and his family) He never really had much of a reason to be around the older we got because it's more our family then his." I looked up at her.

Rebecca rubs my back gently before turning her attention towards me.

"Your mother's right my little one. We really don't know who the boy is or what his intentions are." Yoan places his hand over mine as his blueish grey eyes look at me with concern. 

"No queremos ver que te lastimes, nena."(We don't want to see you get hurt babe) Looking at the both of them I turn to Robert who had cleared his throat.

"Cami you know that I love you like as if you were my own daughter. I will kill anyone that hurts you. I will not let anyone disrespect you in any way. You're a very innconet girl and because of that you don't see the dangers of the world." He says with seriousness in his eyes. 

Nodding in agreement I straightened my back.

"I know enough about him to know what his intentions are." Getting up I look around the room at my family. "Let's give him a chance to prove himself then."

Good for Cami for standing up to her family
