Chapter 28

Cami's POV

Sleeping next to my mate is one the best feelings in the world that any she wolf can ever ask for.  I cuddled in closer into Aiden's arms for the rays of the sun had woken me up and sighed affectionately under my breath as I looked at him. 

"Todavía estás sorprendido, ¿verdad?"(You're still surprised aren't you?) Storm asks in a whisper. Thinking  about her question for a moment longer I was still very much in shock. Personally I wouldn't have blamed Aiden at all if he had deiced to walk out the door and not look back or even think twice about it. 

"A little bit yes. I guess they love us much more then what I give them credit for." I jokingly said subconsciously just as Storm laughs softly. "That's what I have been trying to tell you all along. They don't care about what has happened in our past because they see a future with us." 

I looked at her for a moment before I peeked at Aiden from under my lashes. Propping myself up as gently and quietly as possible onto my elbow I took the time to take in everything that Aiden had. His prepossessing dark tanned skin seemed to become much darker when the sun would touch him. Smooth stubble free face with an amazing upper body. I glanced down towards his chest and abs. 

"I swear his body should be considered illegal in this country because it's just that stunning." Storm purrs with delight as I roll my eyes at her.

Sliding my hand up from Aiden's waist to his abs then up to his forearm I froze but relaxed when he spoke huskily. 

"Buenos días nena, ¿qué estás haciendo tan temprano?"(Good morning babe what are you doing up this early?) Feeling his arms tighten around my waist I nuzzled against him and layed my hand against his forearm. 

"Habit I suppose but that doesn't mean that I can't try to fall back asleep again." I muttered against his neck as he chuckled. 

"Then let's please make that happen for a little longer it's still early and I just want to be able to enjoy the moment." He says while pulling the blankets closer. 

Sparks run up my whole body as I snuggled up against his strong body. Taking my hand in his and locking our fingers together I asked.

"Aiden?" His fingers slid up and down my back sweetly. "Si mi amor?"(Yes my love.)

"Can we stay like this forever?" I ask as I looked up at the black eyes that I've grown to love so much. 

"This is our forever princesa"(princess) He says before kissing the top of my head. "This right here right now is our forever and nothing is going to change that. Not Derek, not your family, not my family, or even the pack." Laying my cheek against his chest I close my eyes again and soon enough I was asleep again in the arms of my mate.

Very very very very sorry for the delay in the chapter. This chapter was very much over due. Thank you so much for understanding and being patient with me for it is not easy to be writing everyday. I will try my best to work on new chapters when I can.
