Two Years Later...
She held onto her uncles arm as they walked up the rows of chairs in the Serpent bar; the soft hum of Green Days “Boulvard of Broken Dreams” played in the background.
She wore a white sun dress that ended right above her knees and of course her black serpent jacket which everybody wore in the room excluding the few north side friends.
Finally they reached the stage which was usually for strippers and her uncle left her side after kissing her cheek.
She slowly walked up the steps and laid her eyes on her soon to be husband. All eyes were on her as she scuttled over to him and held his hand.
“You look beautiful Princess.” He whispered quietly and they sat down on the chairs while the marriage personal started the ceremony.
“Do you Sweet Pea–” The man raised his eyebrows at the tall serpent but continued– “take Jadah Bentley 'Fuego' Jones, to be your lawfully wed wife?”
“I do.”
“And do you Jadah Bentley 'Fuego' Jones take Sweet Pea, to be your lawfully wed husband?”
“I do.”
“I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride!”
