Letter #20

 Dear Wrenbird,

You told me you loved me today.

My cheeks still hurt from grinning.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm still grinning as I write this letter.

It hurts.

But I told you that we weren't going to say that.

“I love you” is just way too overused.

So we decided on this:

“Once in a blue moon.”

I suppose I have to sign off with that now, don't I?

Mm...

I don't know.

I still like signing off with the date.

We'll see.
