-Last chapter-

The summer went by so fast. Too fast. Prom was the best experience I had in a long time. I went with Ethan of course. We danced like it was the last time because it was probably. I had to move to Toronto at the end of the summer. I also lost my virginity. I was so scared but Ethan made sure that my first time would be great and it truly was.

Ethan got accepted into the University of LA with Maddy. I'm so happy for him because he got the results later and at first he thought he didn't get accepted but he got. It was really stressing him out because his grades were a little low but I guess they were high enough for him to get in.

My mom and Patrick are really happy together and I'm so happy for them. They moved in with us the week after the supper. They were moving fast in their relationship but it seemed to work out for them. Kayla finally accepted Patrick. For Jessie and I... Well, we don't talk at all. She went back to New Jersey to live with her mom like she used to.

Today is the day I'm leaving for Toronto. All my friends, my mother and my sister are at the airport with me. We are all crying like babies and we're laughing about it.

Ethan is behind me with his arms wrapped around my waist and he won't let me go.

"Why didn't the University of LA accept you instead of the one in Toronto." He whispers in my ear. I chuckle. "You really don't want to give it a try for a distance relationship?" He asks. I turn around and put my arms around his neck.

"I love you with all my heart, E. But I don't believe in those things. I really wish I could but..." I look into his eyes. My eyes get watery. "I just can't. I'm sorry" A tear escape my eye. He wipes it with his thumb.

He cups my cheeks with his hands. "Hey. I love you" I smile and it makes me cry more.

He pulls me closer to him and wraps his arms around my shoulders and mine around his waist. I sob in his shirt. My head is on his chest and I hear his heartbeat and it calms me down. He strokes my hair. I'll miss that feeling. I'll miss being in his arms, feeling his warm body close to mine, his beautiful eyes looking deep into mine, his lips against mine, I'll miss everything. I'll miss him.

He let's go of me and takes out a little box. He opens it and it a necklace with the letter 'E' on it.

"I want you to have this. So like that you won't forget me." He says.

"How could I forget the person I love the most in this world?" He chuckles.

Ethan takes out the necklace from the box and I turn around so he can put it on me. He puts it around my neck and I turn around to face him.

"It's time..." I say. He shakes his head.

"Not yet. Please don't leave me. "

"I have to go E." Tears are rolling down my cheeks. He hugs me again. He lets go and I go to see Maddy.

I look at her and we both burst out in tears. We hug each other for like a minute that I wish could last longer.

"I'll miss you so much, Lex."

"I'll miss you more Maddy." We hug each other again and I do the same for all of my friends.

I go over to Gray and hug him.

"Make sure Ethan doesn't do stupid shit okay?" I whisper. He chuckles.

"I promise" He grins.

I arrive in front of my mother and my sister. They're both crying and it makes me cry too.

We make a group hug and everyone joins. I'll really miss them but at least I could come to visit in the holidays.

"I have to go guys..." They all step back a little so I can take my luggage.

"Be careful honey. And have fun" My mother says. I nod.

I go to Ethan and hug him tightly.

"I love you so much, Lex"

"You can't imagine how much I love you, E-tee-wee-tee" I answer. He chuckles shaking his head.

"I need you." He says.

"I need you too. But I have to go..."

He looks into my eyes before crashing his lips to mine. I wish that kiss could last longer. Really, really, longer.

"I'll wait for you. No matter how long you'll be gone, I'll always be here waiting for you." He tells me. I try to smile but I just end up crying. He takes me in his arms again.

"I need to go now. I love you." I say. I take my luggage and start walking away.

I give my luggage to a man so he can verify it. Before I can go through the security, I look back and Ethan and he looks so sad.

I turn around to see the security guard looking at me with a grin

"Let me guess. You're going to college or university and you won't be able to see him?" I nod slowly.

"Go. Go see him one last time. I'll wait here. It's not like I have to be somewhere else." he chuckles.

"Thank you, sir" I grin and he nods.

I turn around and start running in Ethan's way. He's looking down. I guess he heard my footsteps because he looks up and has a confused look on his face.

I jump in his arms and wrap my legs around his waist. He wraps his arms around my waist and holds me close to him.

"I won't go if you don't want me too" I whisper.

"You know I want you to stay but I can't do that. I can't be the reason why you dont wanna go to University, babe."

"Maybe there are still some places in the one in here..."

"It's too late, princess." I unwrap my legs from him and get back on the ground. I sigh.

"Promise me you won't forget me" I say.

"I promise. How could I? I'll probably not even stop loving you. I'll love you forever, Lex." A tear falls on his cheek. I put my hand on his cheek and wipe it with my thumb. I keep stroking his cheek.

"Me too, babe. Me too." tears rolls on my cheeks.

"You don't want to miss your flight don't you?" Ethan says. I chuckle and shake my head. I hug him one last time. I think it's the biggest hug I ever gave in my life.

"Bye E." I say letting him go.

"Bye Lex." I kiss him before walking back to the security guard.

He grins. "That was cute." He says. I chuckle

"Yeah. Sad too." I answer.

The security guard does what he has to do and I thank him before walking to the door crying without looking back.

If I had looked back, I think I wouldn't have been able to leave everyone. But now, I'm going to university and something new is about to start...
