Yesterday we went to get our dresses for prom. We all found the perfect dress that we wanted (pictures above ⬆️)

It's exactly what I was looking for. It was pretty expensive but I had enough money. I choose some blue high heels but you can't see them because the dress is too long.

I decided that I will go see Ethan today. I have to talk to him. Say what I have on my heart. I can't keep it in anymore.

I woke up after all the girls. We fell asleep around 3:30 am so I was super tired. I take my phone to see what time it is and it's 12:30 am. I decide to text Ethan.

Me: Meet me in the woods I showed you the other day @ 3

Ethan: Why?

Me: Don't come if you don't want to

Ethan: I'll be there

"Who are you texting?" I look up and see Taylor standing in the door frame.

"My mom" I lie.

"Don't lie to me, Lex." She laughs slightly.

"Fine. Ethan."

"You're going to forgive him?" She sits on the bed beside me.

"I think so. I don't know why tho. I just have a feeling that it's the right thing to do."

"Maybe it is. Jordan and I have been through the same thing."

"Wait. Jordan cheated on you?" I ask.

"No. I did. I was drunk and the other guy too and well you know what happened... But we talked and I explained myself and everything got back to normal. Just tell him how you really feel."

I didn't even know that she cheated on him. But she was drunk so I guess... But even the person that you would the less expect to do something bad still does some mistakes. I don't know if it makes sense but I just feel like anyone can make mistakes and you'll have to forgive them sooner or later. Even if you don't want to.

"I'm going to meet him at 3 and we are going to talk."

"I hope everything goes well." Taylor smiles.

"Thanks for always being here for me, Taylor."

"Always"

We get up from the bed and hug each other.

"Now, come downstairs. My mom made some pancakes and the other girls are already eating."

"Your mom's pancakes and the best!" I say walking down the stairs. We both laugh.

"Good luck!" Maddy, Kelly, and Taylor say before I get out of the driveway.

"Thanks! I'll let you guys know how it went." I wave at them and leave. I drive home because there is no parking close to the woods so I'm only gonna walk.

I park my car in the garage and start walking towards the woods. My heart is beating pretty fast. I haven't talked to him in a couple days. I'm only going to say how I really feel about the situation and ask him what really happened at the party because I still have zero clues of what actually happened.

I arrive in front of the woods. I take a deep breath and walk inside. I walk for maybe two minutes before getting to the spot where the bench is. Luckily, Ethan isn't there. So I sit on the bench and wait.

I look at my phone and see that it's 3:15. Usually, Ethan is never late for nothing. Not even classes. He's always on time. Or sometimes even earlier. So I know that he's not gonna come... I'm disappointed. Really.
