Chapter 8

Both my parents come from money so I'm accustomed to a certain lifestyle. However, contrary to what some may think I haven't had everything handed to me on a silver platter.

My grandfather, on my father's side, believed that it was important for his grandchildren to learn about the family business by being involved in it and not just reaping the benefits of his hard work.

My grandfather, Raymond Parker, built the first ever Rayha resort and spa in 1968 when he was just 30 years old. When he decided to retire he passed the running of the business on to his only two son, Andrew Nathaniel (my father) and Alexander Benjamin(my uncle).

When we were teenagers my two older cousins and I spent one month each summer working at the first Rayha resort in Florida. My little brother and baby cousin would do the same when the time comes.

As much as I enjoy working in the resort business I love investing in properties, flipping them and then selling it for a profit or turning it into a rental property.

Even though my grandpa is supportive of what I want to do, my dad only wants me to focus on the resorts and take over his job when he retires.

I had just gotten home after handling a crisis at one of my rental properties when Tyler called.

"Hey man, what's up?" I ask.

"Hey listen, there's some issues with the pipes over at Cassie's place. The landlord says its gonna be a couple of weeks before it's fixed and they have nowhere so I offered for them to come stay with us... I hope that's alright."

"Sure, no problem but who is they?"

"Cassie and her roommate Jenna. You met her at that first party I invited Cassie to, remember?

"Ah, the tiny dark haired one that looked like a scared kitten?" I think grinning.

"That's the one. Look I need to go help the girls out. We'll see you when we get there. Bye."

"See ya." I say hanging up.

When Tyler pulls up to the house I go outside to welcome our guest and help bring in their bags.

"Ladies, good to see you both again." I kiss Cassie on the cheek before turning to do the same to Jenna. She tenses and I hear her gasp in surprise.

Smiling I go to help Tyler get their bags before heading inside.

"Cassie I assume you'll be sleeping in Ty's room?" I ask with a teasing tone.

Tyler grins and shrugs when she looks at him. "No, I'll share the guest room with Jenna." She mutters, blushing.

"Uh oh cousin, are you in the dog house already?" I tease.

"Shut up." he grumbles before taking Cassie's bags into the guest room next to his room.

Jenna goes to follow but I grab her hand and pull her across the hall.

"You can use this room. The bathroom is right next door, Cassie and Ty are across the hall and I'm downstairs if you need me." I say with a grin.

Leaving her bags by the bed I take her hand. "Come on I'll give you a tour."

I'm not really the hand holding type. I just wanted an excuse to be closer to her. And she doesn't pull away.

I start by pointing out the rooms across from hers as Tyler's and the 3 other guest rooms.

Making our way downstairs I show her the living room, the den, the kitchen and lastly I lead down another set of stairs that lead to my bedroom.

"I redesigned the basement into the master bedroom after I bought the place."

I open the door and let her walk in before me.

"Wow! It's beautiful. This whole house is." she exclaims in awe and a surge of pride burst through me.

The master bedroom is huge and it has large windows that show of a stunning view of the beach from my bed.

She looks at me then, really looks at me, for the first time since she arrived. Her beautiful dark brown eyes are wide and shining with gratitude.

"Thank you, for letting us stay here. We... We really appreciate it." she says shly.

And then *Dear God* her sweet little tongue darts out to wet her lips and just like that I'm hard. Now all I can picture is that hot little mouth wrapped around my cock.

Having her standing in the middle of my bedroom certainly didn't help.

Moving towards her I ask "So Jenna are you seeing anyone?"

"N.. n.. No." She stutters. 

"Really? What guy wouldn't want a gorgeous girl like you?"

I can't seem to help myself from reaching out to touch her. My fingers barely make contact with the skin on her bare shoulder and she shivers.

I lean in and skim my lips across her cheek. I hear her take in a sharp breath, in anticipation of my next move. Just as I'm about place a kiss on her lips she pulls away.

"I should go unpack...Thanks again." She darts past me and before I know it she's gone.

I know she wants me, I could see it in her eyes. So why did she run? Is she just playing hard to get? Or is she really just as innocent as she seems?

Either way, the next few weeks were going to be fun.
