I shouldn't have been surprised to wake up alone the next morning. Part of me is disappointed. The other part is relieved.

I would have hated for things to be awkward this morning. I guess Nate also wanted to avoid making things weird so he left before I woke up.

Now I know my attraction isn't one sided and there's more to Nate than the flirty playboy he shows the world. He's sweet and kind and caring.

But what now? The kind of intimacy I shared with Nate as he held me and kissed me breathless was not meaningless. I'm not saying I'm head over heels in love with him. But surely the way he acted with me means something has changed between us, right?

I spent the entire day over thinking things. Would we act like nothing happened? Would he suggest we be friends with benefits? What would he do?

Dinner time rolled around and there was still no sight of Nate. Cassie texted to let me know they wouldn't be home. So I was all alone, in a big empty house with nothing but my thoughts. I played out different scenarios of what would happen in my head.

I'm not exactly sure what I expected to happen but it definitely wasn't this.

It was nearly midnight. I was in bed reading, as usual. Then I heard the front door. Hushed voices and giggles floated up the stairs. At first I thought Cassie and Tyler had changed their minds and come back. I got up and peeked through my slightly open door.

I caught sight of Nate and the giggling blond just before they entered the last guest room. I was wrong. Nothing had changed, at least not for Nate.

Each moan, each grunt, each cry to God made my stomach roll. I felt like I was going to throw up. Why did he have to fuck her up here. He could have easily taken her down to his room. Then they could be as loud as they wanted.

He brought her up here cause he wanted me to know. He wanted me to hear them together. Last night changed nothing.

-------------------------------------------
Saturday morning I stay in my room and try to avoid running into Nate and his bimbo. I'm pretty sure even the neighbors knew when she was cuming with the way she was screaming last night.

When Tyler and Cassie get back it's early afternoon. My stomach is crying for some sustenance. With my head held high I finally brave leaving my room. In the kitchen I find Cassie digging in the fridge.

"Hey Cass."

"Jenna!" She spins around and rushes to hug me. "I didn't know you were here. The house was so quiet."

Good that meant Nate wasn't around. "Yeah I was, uhm, taking a nap." I lie.

We make sandwiches and sit at the counter to eat them. Cassie tells me all about her romantic night out with Tyler. She makes sure to include as many details as possible. Even the one I ask her not to.

I like Ty, we're friends and I don't need to know about the size of his package. Just as I'm thinking that he comes into the kitchen. Wrapping his arms around Cassie from behind and resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Talking about me again? Hey Jen." he smiles.

"Hey" I return his smile then continue eating.

"So how do you ladies feel about going to a party tonight?"

"That sounds fun. Jen I'm sure you are getting bored around here. I've been so busy with work and school and Tyler. We haven't had any time to hang out."

She's right. We've been here over two weeks and haven't seen each other as much as we are used to. Besides I need to get my mind off a certain someone.
