Layla came over a few minutes after Royce left me to go hang out with Holly and not soon after, Aron arrived with Elliot, Andrew, and Jake.
I stayed up in my room as more random people showed up because I wanted some alone time to recover from what happened with Royce.
Royce... he is acting strange now...
He used to be so sweet an innocent but after my transformation, he began to change as well. Could it be because of my hormones? Or is it just because Royce has truly become different?
Once I felt confident enough to go to the living room and put on a smile with out breaking down when I saw Royce and Holly, I fixed myself up a bit, slipped on my heels, and walked out.
I was no longer as confident and smiley but I was able to at least socialize a bit, even if it was with fake smiles and conversations that no meaning.
It was supposed to be a small barbecue get together yet somehow it turned into a huge party.
There were people everywhere and someone, I don't know who, snuck in alcohol.
As I walked down the crowded hall where people were making out, I prayed no one would try to go in my room to do anything more.
Music was blasting through the whole house and I felt completely lost though I was in my own home.
I wanted everyone to go away, to leave so I could be at peace as I curl myself up in the corner of my room and cry, but life didn't want to deal with my depression so it kept the party here.
I was annoyed with all the cheerful people, partying their hearts out, and all the couples showing their affection in front of everyone.
I was in one of those moods where you just hate everything I guess.
I felt like Grumpy, one of Snow Whites seven dwarves and when I looked at everyone's wide grins filled with pleasure and satisfaction, I wanted to slap them all for being cheerful while I was in a bad mood.
Number one rule about me: If I'm not happy, you can't be either.
"Hey!" a voice filled with enjoyment called out as I turned to see Layla rushing over to me.
"Hey" I said back.
Layla was wearing a tight small black party dress and high heels, which she was struggling to walk in.
As she approached me, I could instantly tell something was off about her. She was giggly, unbalanced and reeked of alcohol.
"I thought you said it was a small party." Layla said as her words came out slurred.
"No way! Are you drunk?" I asked while grabbing her arm and looking her strait in the eyes.
"I'm not drunk! I just drank a tinsy bit" she mumbled.
"Layla! We are under aged! Why would you drink?!" I exclaimed while dragging her to the bathroom.
In all honesty, underaged drinking is a common thing but for the me who doesn't like alcohol, I didn't respect when under aged teens drank just to "be cool".
Wow, maybe I am the definition of party pooper.
Once we entered the bathroom, I slammed the door angrily and locked it so no one would come in.
"Don't be such a party pooper." Layla whinnied.
"You need to sober up. Im not gonna have the police come to my house and find a drunken Layla." I said while deciding if I should stick Layla in the shower or not.
