Layla and I soon found the doll, which was left in the bathroom, and we hurried on to our next class.

The period passed rather quickly with the sounds of peoples fake babies crying all throughout the class time. I was practically day dreaming the whole time, wondering what James had to tell me, so the sounds didn't bother me. The teacher, on the other hand, was obviously annoyed but he knew there was nothing he could do about it.

The bell rang and everyone scurried out the door as if waiting one more minute would kill them. I, unlike them, sluggishly packed up my stuff while shoving my binder into my bag.

I didn't feel the need to rushed because there was no reason that I had to. I looked around and saw Aron, Royce, and everyone else waiting for me at the door.

"You guys can go without me. I'm going to meet up with Layla. It's my turn to watch the baby doll thing." I said while putting my bag over my shoulder and walking towards the door way.

"Are you gonna go home alone after meeting with her?" Jake asked. They all looked at me concerned and worried, wondering if they should accompany me or not.

"It's not that big of a deal, seriously guys, I'll be fine." I said while walking pass them.

"I don't know. Better safe than sorry right?" Andrew said as they began to follow me.

I stopped and turned to them as people stared at us. We drew a lot of attention as a group, well, even on their own they drew a lot of attention.

"Fine but I only need one person to come with me. It would be too much of a hassle with all of you are there." I said while folding my arms.

They all looked at each other in agreement.

"Alright." Jake said as they all stared at me, begging with their eyes for me to chose them.

This isn't a contest. Why are they so eager to come get a doll with me? Guys are so confusing.

"Ok then" I said while looking each of them in the eye for a moment.

"Royce, you're coming with me. Lets go." I said while glancing at him then turning around and walking away.

As I walked, I could hear all of the others fall silent, and mumble to one another as Royce quickly tried to catch up with me.

I glanced over my shoulder and watched as they all looked disappointed, especially Aron and Jake.

Well it can't be helped, I don't want a huge group following me for such a little matter.

Royce caught up to me and walked along my side.

"So, why did you choose me? Am I your favorite?" Royce asked jokingly.

"I guess you could say that." I answered while turning down a hall that had many class rooms, all empty with only a few teachers and a few with kids in for detention.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Royce asked, now interested in the comment I made.

"It doesn't mean anything, I just thought it was the best choice. Elliot is still kind of new to me so being with him and Layla would be kind of weird. Aron just made up with Layla after fighting with each other so that's obviously a no. Andrew isn't very social and there's not much to talk with him about so he was out. Then there was Jake, but he doesn't live with us so he wasn't really an option. So I guess, over all, you were the best choice." I said while walking into Lalya's class where she was waiting for me.

"So I was your last option." Royce mumbled in a quite tone.

"No, you were my first choice. It just happens to be that there were reasons why I couldn't choose the others." I said back to him with a smile.
