"YOU were not here yesterday."
Alexie almost stagger when she hear that voice. She was checking the displays since closing time is approaching.
It was that woman again. She looked up. She was looking back at her, too. Her left eyebrow is perfectly curved upward. She seems serious but there is a smile waiting to happen in her thin lips.
"I'm sorry. It was my day off."
"That I learned from your staff."
"Can I help you?"
She shakes her head. "Can I invite you for a cup of coffee?"
She gazed at her intently. Aura pouted. She sighed. The tall girl smiled as if she won.
"I'm busy." She returned to what she previously doing.
She did not hear anything to from the woman beside her. She just stands there. When she glances at her, she was holding her phone.
"Would you accept flowers if I give you one?"
"Why would you give me flowers?"
"Because I like you."
"Seriously?
"Seriously."
She stopped for a second before facing the tall woman. "Aura-"
"Aura De Vos. My full name is Aura De Vos. And I can't wait for you to become Mrs. De Vos." She said, stopping what she was about to say.
She gawked at her in shock. She grins in return.
"Proposing to a random woman is not my thing, Miss Alexie Cruz. I intend to wipe the memory of the person who hurt you. Have a wonderful night, future Mrs. De Vos." She smile and kiss her forehead before leaving.
Still dumbfounded, her eyes followed her movements as Aura left the coffee shop.
